At those ages, none of those should NOT be done.

But I would say smoking is worse, drinking isn't as bad as long you don't drink anything too "heavy", just some mild alcohol drinks few times around the year isn't bad at all.

But if you drink for getting drunk in the end (like how most Finnish drinkers do), that should be stop right away.

Depression =/= Gene

Depression does NOT pass over genes to the following generations, it's a mental issue that affects only the person who has it, no one else expect if the others get themselves depressed because one is depressed.

That sounds complex.

It's all up to yourself that are you over stressed, causing depression in the process or something like that.

I don't vote 5 often, 2 or 3 is my most usual vote, some movies like There She Is 4 that you mentioned is example for one that deserves 5 from me.

It's just that Newgrounds' voting system has been YouTube'd.
(Where they give nothing but five out of five)

Ah! That that is actually correct.
I remember hearing somewhere that in a sense a human mind is like a machine, just a very very very complex one.

I remember watching a documentary on robots on a Finnish TV channel, in the documentary there was shown a robot with camera as the "eyes", torso and one arm, the robot was programmed only "learn" over time and now it performs new things that it wasn't programmed to.

For example the robot was able to react if someone waved his or her hand at it, it took it's own hand and did the same back to the person doing it, that is if the robot is looking that way at the time and appearantly it cannot hear so it doesn't help if you yell at it to take it's "attention".

Gotta find out what was the documentary's name.

Robot technology is really going fast these days I may say.

Posted: 10/02/08 02:46 PM

Forum: Video Games

I say I go for "A Link to the past" myself, which is my definete favorite, I didn't find Ocarina of Time as fun to play or any other Zelda title. The Zelda title I really hate is the "Zelda 2" or Link's Adventure or however people call it, it didn't feel like Zelda at all to me, just some platformer RPG kind of game with Link in it.

Posted: 10/02/08 02:25 PM

Forum: Video Games

You guys know at least that the ORIGINAL Metal Gear wasn't on NES?

It was first published on to MSX2.
I wish I could get my hands on to that one, the Metal Gear for NES is a LOT harder than the MSX version, plus you don't fight Metal Gear at the end on NES unlike how it originally was on MSX2.

I wonder if I could somehow get MSX game to work on Windows?

Forum: General

You're forgetting that without those people that haven't submitted anything, there would probably be no one to vote and review our flash/audio submissions. Without them only a small percentage from the whole bunch of users would go and vote on their favorite submissions and so on.

So they do have a pretty strong meaning here just for that.

But you will most likely gain popularity easier by submitting something, on forums you have to be all the time before you get known enough.

For adobe products I doubt it, mostly only TV console games have region protection from what I know.
You will only have more limited amount of languages to use in the program, but other than that it should be all fine for you, I think.

So go and order that Flash CS4 whenever it gets out.

Punk rock always seems to calm me down a little, also any song with piano as the lead instrument is pretty helpful too.

Some rare few times when I really need to get relaxed, I use my mom's Mozart, Bethoven or Bach CDs (you read that right).

Instrumental songs for the win in this case.

Oh well, it's internet, you never know what kind of meme comes up next.

But I gotta say from the other artists, Rick kinda deserved that way more than something like Britney Spear. ANYTHING rather than Britney. That's my opinion though.

Now to Rick n' roll someone

I don't smoke myself, I really can't stand the smell of it either, not to mention how would I hate to smoke only one breathe in.

I have quite many options that would kill me on the long run:

(not counting some things like shooting to the head or so)

-Repeatlessly keep me watching some really bad movie
-Make me play games that are nothing but frustating (I rarely get frustated at games... But whenever I get...)
-Make me drink milk (you better believe it)
-Make me stay up for four days in row
-Destroy my computer in front of my eyes (=heart attack or something)

Those are examples

Yeah I remember the Eagle stage being pretty easy to beat as well. But you know, beating Chill Penguin's always been a bit of a tradition to me whenever I played it.

Speaking of which, it's been years.
Chill Penguin has always been the first guy I kill, but I usually go off on a tangent and die a million times. NOT THIS TIME.

I usually did that too, but to break the habit I started to play through my favorite stage first, Armored Armadillo. (God, I love that stage, although Spark Mandrill has better song)

Sometimes for challenge I either go through Spark Mandrill or Boomer Kuwanger before any other stage.

It's fun when you play the harder ones first, then go and beat Chill Penguin up the last :D

That's moldovan what they speak in the song, not french at all.

I myself speak Finnish, so all English songs are foreign to me, but because I can understand them well, it doesn't count as much I think...

So... I myself like M.O.V.E's Dog Fight a lot myself, not too much in to Japanese songs, but that's really cool I would say.

I would myself say that the Piano is the best.

You can really make something intense sound cool on it and as well as make a really calming melody while playing it with ease.

Other instruments can't really perform as much what a simple piano can do.

I would say Madness in this case, as the Madness movies themselves have more effort in them than Awesome ones. It's a lot harder to make all that FBF in Madness things than that what you need for Awesome cartoon.

And now I'm comparing the originals, not the fan creations to each of those.

Topic: The worst game ever spawned.

Posted: 09/30/08 05:07 AM

Forum: Video Games

From the games I HAVE myself, the worst game that has been spawned and ended up in to my collection definetely is "E.T - The Extra Terrestial: 20th anniversary edition" for GBA.

The graphics were rather good, but the gameplay and SFX just didn't make up for it.
Especially E.T sounded retarded.
