Yeah, anyways, please provide me with a reasonable argument as to why you need this kind of gun.
MP44 btw
First I'm going to assume this gun has both semi-automatic and automatic fire.
Turn it to single shot and you can take down an elk up to 200 yards. The sights are designed to be quick so that same single shot can be placed easier in a running animal at say 50 yards. The muzzle break on that is designed so when you do have automatic fire the gun won't kick you around, so if you're willing to sacrifice some meat in trade for dropping an animal that runs after the first shot you can switch to automatic and shoot true and place 5 shots to put it down. Very practicle in sparse hunting seasons and towards the end of the season. On the protection side gun owners know that at about 20 feet with a pistol it's hit or miss(police only have to hit 3 out of 9 shots at that range to pass their range tests), and if someones breaking into your house and you can protect yourself I'd rather have the person know I can shoot long range and not run then have someone run and not be taken in by police.
Now can you tell me why someone who passes all the checks to get a rifle or handgun and even a ccp shouldn't have one of these rifles?
The republicans will do something and in turn democrat leaders will write a strongly worded letter against what the republicans did while the majority of democrats will still vote in line with republicans leaders.
That would be lifestyle, not religion.
I have a parked geo metro that me and a few friends are going to slowly convert to electric. Our plans are to be able to plug it in and use that little 3 cylinder engine as a generator. We're aiming to get about 50-miles out of charge.
Anyone know if the engine will need to meet emission standards if it's only used to generate electricity for longer trips? Federal standards, not for this prize.
Research skills and problem solving. Theres nothing really special about making political decisions, the skills learned with other subjects could easily be applied.
If you're interested in politics look into the debate team. Other than that it's not really important for a high school grad to know.

Firstly, if you have anything to do with physics, such as engineering, high school maths is critical to learning college maths.
Secondly, even if you don't work in a maths based career, maths is very good for the thinking processes within the brain; it basically makes you generally smarter.
Even on the low end of life math is important. If you earn and spend money you've got to know basic to intermediate math skills.
That's the mature approach to it. If you're going to be a man of faith I couldn't think of a better mindset to go through life with.

They will accept their child eventually. I didn't say they were going to throw a pride parade. They'll probably still think homosexuality is a sin and feel sad that their girl is going to hell, but they won't do anything to make her life harder than it is.

There's no evidence that there isn't a colony of aquatic seven armed gorillas at the bottom of the sea. But ya know what? I would bet everything I have or will ever own in my lifetime that when we get there the hairy sea monkeys wont be. What happened to your brother is luck, more so it was chance. Do you think god is sitting behind people at a slot machine deciding if they win or lose? Think of a deck of cards, I can shuffle them(split evenly in 2,1 card ontop 1 card), deal them out, and someone is going to have a winning hand. You can believe god had a part in choosing the winner, but logically I can go back and trace where every card has been, no cards are going to magically switch one for another, so the only way god could have been involved in the outcome would be if he could see the future. Since god was so kind as to grant us free will and all there is no way he could accurately see the future and effect past events to get the outcome he wants. With that in mind, we have no free will, or he has no way of helping our outcome in life without predicting the future, which is impossible. So since these two concepts can'te play nice together and since free will and miracles are considered a big deal to christianity and 99% of the religions out there I can only conclude that they are bullshit. If you don't get it I'll take the blame, someone more eloquent than myself probably does and can explain better.
They're parents. They will come around. My parents stopped talking to me when I told them I didn't believe their religion, when they found out I was sexualy active, when they found out my past drug use, and when they found out I was going to make them grandparents without a new daughter in law. Each time though things were made better, eventually. Personaly I think they had prejudace about every one of those groups, but never really knew anyone from them. They did however know me, they knew I was a good person and eventually logical thinking along that line brought our relationship together again. Even better now that we respect each other on terms we all set for our self.
Or maybe your friend has a history of acting out for attention. The type that cuts them selves, gets in fights at school all for a little bit of attention, good and bad. Maybe her parents assume(maybe they're right too) that she's just bringing a girlfriend home because she knows they won't aprove and all that yummy christmas attention is on her and her sinful lifestyle. That is if it fits the pattern, I'm just playing devils advocate on this one.
Do you find it fair that a person who drops out of high school can say start a construction business and become very wealthy, while many people with master degrees and doctorates can have a hard time making their mortgage payments? Now I'm not asking if this is right or wrong, just fair.
If any of my consitutional rights are taken away. No matter what, I'd know it would be an opening to the end and would revolt to restore the old system.
If they don't overturn Roe v Wade.

Sounds awesome. I'm just waiting for them to create some sort of virus out of this (think the descaladores from the speaker series). Also why is everyone thinking of hybrids? Wouldn't it be much cooler if they are able to create something completely new?
I'm signing up.
Ash needs to be the god of life. He has the power to kill the living and raise the dead, and sometimes he may have a tree rape some chick. He's just quirky like that.
Venom is the sun god, no not that one, the real one that makes darkness. It will prove how true the religion is, I mean just look at the vast darkness of space to see how far our gods reach. Also light is a result of venom getting tired or annoyed with sin, so if we want light we have to sin just enough to make it happen.
Ok, Bill Clinton is popping up in this thread alot. What could someone arguing against global warming and for a politcal bias against american interest use Bill Clinton for? If I recall he was enviromentaly friendly, and in no position of power when global warming was even thought to be an issue.
If you're fat we have tons of jobs that you can do that have no physical strain so you can still contribute to society.
Lazy, well you can just collect off of welfare and contribute to the democrat voting base. (Just kidding, of all the people on welfare I know not one is even registered to vote.)
And with this everybody sits on the couch and nobody reads. Why can I walk into fye with one teller and get out with my movie faster then I can escape barnes & noble with 5 tellers?
Get out and see the real world, everybody has their downfalls and makes up for them accordingly. and those comics in the opinion section of your local newspaper are greatly exagerated characters, not real people by any stretch of the imagination.
You see. The republicans are more likely to ignore PC and in aot of cases, try as hard as they can to be as un pc as possible.
I know I do.
No we never found any actual WMD's. What we did find was all the tools and materials to manufacture them in a reletively short time and the needed tools for an effective delivery system. Basically given the freedom he could have made and spread weapons in a few months time.
The nice thing about our open democracy is that everyones opinion matters no matter where it came from. It doesn't matter if it's religion, celebrities, schools or any other number of things that influence us to our political opinions and our votes, they're all equal. And to say your opinion and your vote is more valid then anyone elses because of the method of how you've reached them (even though I may agree) is facism and that's one of those little things we try to avoid.

God I feel dirty using YouTube as an example. However, he puts it succinctly.
Excellent video actually, puts things well into perspective. I'm still sceptic about this being presented and accepted so quickly and recently that it could all be bad science all around, I guess I would really like this to be more scientificaly motivated than politically motivated. You know a few billion federal dollars going into researching climate change would probably end up less then revenue lost to regulation and other taxes involved in taking "column a" from the video. So far we have science that proves we have a red spot on our neck and everyone is arguing if the cancer was caused naturaly in our body or by an outside force.
Right now global warming/climate change or whatever you want to call it are along the same lines a JNCO jeans and vans shoes in 1999. It's popular, it's a trend that has recently popped up and so most of the reports on the subject are heavily biased. It's an emotional issue, if you agree with global warming then reports supporting it are genius and reports doubting it are flawed, the decision is made before knowing anything other then what side it supports, and vice versa, hell there's already a nasty little slur for people who disagree. The US is not going to go along with whatever trend pops up and make decisions that would hurt the country. There's also a promise of the rules this thing presents to start snowballing. Say we cut down co2 emissions and nothing changes? What if the arguing side is correct and we are just going through a warming cycle that happens regardelss of human interferance? Well since global warming is an emotional issue that won't even be considered. Instead there must be something else causing it and we'll need more regulations that are going to hurt us further. Once something on the subject is concrete I'm sure the country will do something, but as long as it's an MTV issue I highly doubt we'll do anything.

In case you were wondering
You keep speaking about these wackos using the anonimity to protect themselves from normal good people when they say whatever retarded thing they want to say. I look at it more as me being protected from the very same wackos. If all my info was readily available who's to say someone wouldn't want to come after me for being pro life or pro gay marriage or hell because I wrote something bad about their favourite band or movie? Everything you say is not public record, but everything you say on the internet is. If in a discussion with friends I can tell a racist joke and we can enjoy it laugh and then think what horrible people we are. If I stand on the corner and share my best comparison of pizza and mexicans with a megaphone there's going to be problems. The internet is the megaphone that causes problems. It's best to have some secrecy and protect yourself from whoever wether you're being a biggot or a saint.
I buy my friends and family gifts to show them they're appreciated and I've gone out of my way representing that. IN turn when I get a gift it shows I'm appreciated. I'm not really the type to get a last minute got this from the gas station for ya gift, so even more it shows you're thinking of someone. Oh noes I bought it, I'm a rabid consumer! Well I'm a rabid consumer doing something nice for some.
If we were being attacked I would fight for our country. If we feel we need to use war to spread our world views then no. I'll back a friend up in a fight, but not if he walked up to some random person and started it himself.

You think those are legal and registered? That's an interesting point in the gun debate, too. Dealers for pretty much all classes of drugs don't carry guns, in the UK. Some might carry knives, some might have guns, but guns are not particularly routine in the drugs trade. If I was picking up a few ounces, I would be a little surprised to see firearms.
I'd be interested to know how much weed goes for in the UK you saying picking up a few ounces means 3 things. 1 you're rich and can drop over a grand on weed at a time 2 You're smoking dirt or 3 It's alot cheaper. Here an ounce of chronic is gonna be around $400 and they can usually cover alot of customers as to say at any moment they could have $10,000 in drugs and money sitting in there home at any given time. I could see why someone wouldn't take the extreme of having a gun to protect their investment if they A don't carry as much or B sell it alot cheaper.
It depends on your lifestyle. If you're little jimmy down the street, no you can't get a gun unless you find someone who's very dumb to sell you one. However if you're selling drugs or have gang connections then you'll find it easy. I know there's alot of potheads on NG and the simple question is. How often have you bought more then an ounce and NOT seen a gun when you pick it up? You think those are legal and registered?
