The best things for an economy to prosper are competition and inovation. Socialism and communism almost discourages both.
GG Canada. Finally a reputable country is going to partake in this social experiment and prove all the dumb theories avout the dangers of allowing gay marriage wrong.

You are a rare breed. Although, I guess I can imagine being anti-abortion for emotional reasons outside of religion.
You're right about one thing: That candidate doesn't exist and will never be elected.
Pro gay marriage because I see nothing but good for the gay community with it and we should encourage all the good we can with everybody in the country. Anti abortion because I'm big on personal responsability and very pro life (forgot to mention up there anti capitol punishment). And I think there are plenty of middle ground people like me who would vote for someone just on the pure fact they hold a very obvious middle ground instead of giving one token issue and calling themselves moderates.

I hope obama wins. Then the republicans will actually have a challenge. Clinton will do really well with the insane, but a hard-boiled egg will win running against clinton for the swing and conservative voters.
There's way too many problems with our laws concerning sexual crimes. I have a friend who to this day is on the sex offender registry because when he was 15 he had sex with a girl who was 15.(who also happens to be absent from the same list)
Too much effort goes into punishment rather then rehab. (Why we still don't trust them when they get out.)
Too little effort is given in protecting the prisoners well being.
Lack of personal privacy. Yes I believe that sex offenders should be watched, but that needs to be up to the local police, not the nosey neighbor down the street.
We need broader defenitions of sexual crimes. We put a man raping girls barely old enough to walk and a college kid who believed that girl who said she was 18 under the same umbrella the way our system is currently set-up.
Ofcourse no politician is ever going to win an election when the competition runs the "senator so-n-so wants to go easy on sex offenders" ads. but hey. Who wants rights really? Anyone? Our government obviously thinks we dont.
Gay marriage? Great, encouraging manogamous relationships in a community that's beaten heavily from disease spread widely through promiscuity.
Pro Life VS Mercy Killing? As long as they agree to it in a clear healthy state of mind before hand.
Abortion? Legal for cases of rape or the mothers life is in danger. Illegal as a form of birth control.
Artificial Insemination-Let science help create families who couldn't have been through natural ways. Awesome
'Under God' In The Pledge of Allegiance-It's not a big deal, people can use it or drop it at their choosing, there's no law requiring anyone to say it so the inclusion of a pro-religious message doesn't violate any laws of seperation, at least thats the way I see it.
Evolution VS Creationism In School-Teach evolution for gods sake, it's the one with actual science behind it. The entire theory of creationism can be summed up in a single sentance, if you want your kid to know both tell them about creationism.
Evolution VS Creationism-Evolution. It's the worse theory of how we came to be, except for all the other theories.
Death Penalty-Accepting human flaws means accepting flaws in our legal system. No person should be killed if there is any chance of innocence. Even if you can prove it 100% who can argue that we really have a right to do anything other then protecting the innocent, and we can do that without killing.
Same-Sex Couples Raising Children-Awesome. Once that abortion thing is outlawed there will be for a short time an increase in children up for adoption, that will mean alot of same sex couples can come into the parent scene together. And it's alot easier to accept a group instead of a single person.
The problem with hillary is she's going to get the same blind unreasoned hatred from conservatives as liberals have given to bush. I honestly couldn't give you more then 5 of her policy beliefs, but I can tell you there's a million more people who can't and still hate her policies 100%. Just like with bush and liberals, alot of conservatives will disagree with her 100% because she's hillary clinton.
When I'm there the people are nice and polite once you get deeper in the country past the border areas. Not really different from America other then the colour of money in my pocket at the time. You'll run into the occasional "Oh you're an american." prick, usually french, but we're not short on pricks our side either(usually hillbilly).
The government will do it's best to prevent people being killed because of there race. And if they don't the people responsible will be punished severely (more so if it's proven to be a hate crime), but asking the government to step in and censor someone complaining about the black voodoo lesbian witchcraft of the disney channel is just silly.

It's true but it's like putting something the size of a windmill into a mini. With the output of a childs fear however it's like running a hummer off a AAA.
It's sick and depraved, but where does it go from here? There's not going to be a long trial. There's not going to be a parade of entertaining lawyers. No public figures life is going to be torn apart. Nothing that makes good tv is in this case.
You forgot. You can light the empire state building off of the fear of one child locked in the basement.
We have plenty of alternative feuls. We just need enough industry in them to make them a valid alternative.
Check ebay for cheap copies of an older version of macromedia flash. Check with your schools computer department to see if they have access to student versions of flash 8(usually free or insanely cheap)

Why the fuck should the majority make exceptions for the minority?because that's the American and European way! sad, but true. Personally, I hate smokers because of their foolishness. They let tobacco rule their lives. Smoker's work production drops because they have to stop working and go outside in order to smoke. Smoking clogs the lungs and restricts oxygen intake, reducing stamina and depriving the body of oxygen. tobacco smoke has a pungent and unpleasant smell that clings to hair and clothing, making the smoker have a bad odor about them. It stains their teeth and fouls their breath. Smokers usually have a shorter fuse and a foul temper about them when they don't smoke. When a smoker becomes stressed they smoke heavier to compensate for their lack fo self control. They learn to rely on nicotine to keep them calm in lieu of self control.
All risks smokers understand and choose to take.
on top of that I watched my own mother whither away and die from lung cancer brought on by smoking for 20 years.
If she didn't realize that was a possibility then she was a fucking retard.
I often hear smokers talk about "having enough cigarettes to make it through the night/trip/etc." not a day that goes by that they don't smoke, for some people, not even an hour can go by that they don't get the urge to smoke.
I've seen people do that with everything. Candy, drinks, toilet paper etc... We do it with everything. Whats so special about wanting our little magical sticks along with us?
I also laugh my ass off when one says, "I won't get cancer" yeah, thats what my own MOTHER said! and what happened to her? she died of cancer. Lung cancer. Her death was long and painful, 2 years of agonizing pain as the cancer wrapped around nerves. Her legs became swollen and craters full of puss began to form, she eventually lost the use of her legs and one of her arms. Hospice had to use catheters so she could pass wastes. After a year and a half she became blind. I would be kept awake for several nights because of her crying from pain, even oxycontin couldn't stop the pain, or the misery. After 2 years she eventually slipped into a coma, and after 6 days she finally stopped breathing and died.
So she was a retard. She died a horrible death because of the choices she made.
despite this, I have 2 brothers who both smoke, fucking morons. Remember this, just because you are you does not mean the forces that be will protect you as you do stupid shit. if you smoke, you will most likely develop lung cancer and odds are, you will die. some people smoke their whole lives and do not develop cancer, lucky them. If cancer runs in your family, you might as well be smoking a stick of dynamite, at least the dynamite will finish you quickly and relatively painlessly. If you opt to smoke and develop cancer, you have no one to blame but yourself when your life gets cut short because of your own habits.
Actually it's around a 20% chance of developing cancer from smoking, not most likely, but your point stands that you need to understand the risks of smoking. Still your choice to take them.
also, smoking does other things besides cause cancer, it also reduces your lungs ability to take in oxygen, which means you deprive your body of oxygen, which means your heart has to work harder to pump enough oxygenated blood to your parts to keep them functioning. It also means that you significantly cut your ability to stay underwater and survive in an oxygen poor environment, such as high altitudes. The harder your heart has to work means the faster it will wear out on you, which cuts your life short.
If you stop physical activity while smoking you'll lose lung capacity, the trick is to stay active. I can still swim 3 laps underwater and continue swimming hours after, something I don't see many non-smokers doing either. If I'm lifting I'll usually have a smoke hangin out of my lips. I have just as much if not more lung capacity and stamina as any non smoker I know.
it also hurts your wallet, big time. say a pack of cigarettes costs $4 a pack, you smoke a pack a day, that comes to $28 a week, $112 a month, $1,460 a year. Can't afford to maintain your car? you could if you stopped smoking. Christmas time and can't afford much for your kid? you could had you not been smoking all year and saved that $4 a day. in 15 years of smoking, you smoked away a brand new car, or several month rent, or a good part of your child's college funding. Congratulations dumbass! What do you have to show for it? damaged lungs and heart. good job!
Again another choice, but they also got hours of relaxation, a tool to keep annoying preachy bastards(much like yourself) away from us, an excuse to get up and think by ourselves and out of the horrible recirculated air at work and many many more benefits.
So yes it's the american europian way. Adults allowed to make decisions and take risks for themselves.
Oh I almost forgot you win for your most awesome drawn out post about your poor mommy and lack of understanding of personal liberties. I bow my head at thee.
New rule. Any point or information brought up that does not possitively enforce my opinion is invalid.
I smoke. I avoid heavily populated open air areas when I light up. I seek designated smoking areas. I don't try to light up in bars and diners that are smoke-free. If I offer you a ride I'll ask before lighting up in my car. Now I take all these precautions along with 90% of smokers. We try a great deal to cope with a society that for the most part doesn't smoke and we're met with smoking areas being pushed back further and further, smoking bans in the bars and resturaunts we seek out while leaving smoke free areas alone and threats of bans on smoking in our own cars. People have it in their heads that big tobacco is evil and you must save all the poor smokers from themselves with crazy and unreasonable bans and taxes. Here's a hint. We're adults, we know the risks, we're willing to take them. And I hate the line "It effects me!" no it doesn't we're easily avoidable in fact I'm sure you put more effort into avoiding the scary black man then in avoiding us, and if you're ever in a situation where you can't avoid being around smokers ASK US TO PUT IT OUT. The most argument you're going to get is "Let me get one or two more drags." We won't sit back and enjoy our smoke, but we'll suck it hard enough to get our nicotene fix and promptly put it out.
Wow this has to be one of the most naive things I've read in ages. Good form however in that segway from making a point to sucking off the beatles. Really it was pulled off masterfully.
Why I love dbx
Lady died!
Lady died!
So why does everybody fucking cry?
Lady Di...
Oh Lady Di...
You've got your boyfriend's tieclip wedged in your eye
People get fucked up every damn day
She gets our pity so why don't they
But she was so pretty, a real superstar
Always wear your seatbelt when you ride in a car
Lady Di...
Oh Lady Di...
You've got a hubcap stuck in your thigh
Lady Di...
Oh Lady Di...
Sucking your fine Arabian Stallion dry
On the grave a withered rose
Think how much she's decomposed
Her death has no meaning, it just doesn't matter
I'd like to see her fucking head on a platter
Lady Di's corpse is going on tour
Fuck a million midgets with your suppurating sore
You'd fuck a million midgets or more
Maybe your driver should have taken some no-doz
I've been all over the internet but still can't find the autopsy photos
If your mother was involved in a fatal car crash
That killed three people
Where the driver was drunk and on drugs
And where she wasn't wearing a seat belt
People would say she was a dumbass who had it coming
But just because Lady Di was a princess
She gets treated like royalty!
I think it would really help open mindednes flourish through out our political system. You know kicking out people with different ideas and opinions.
Tony it seems like you have a stereotype of conservatives completely pieced together from made for tv movies.
Well everyone has heard why liberals protest and consrvatives don't. Same reason.
sorry somebody already lives there

I believe the majority of states cover the CHIP program, and the rest are following suit. On another note you'll never be out of needed medical care no matter how poor you are. Just from personal experience I know it to be true. I had a friend who needed his appendix out and had no insurance and a laughable monthly income, the hospital didn't turn him away and after speaking with the hospital on what he could afford he was able to put his monthly payments at around $2 a month, ofcourse at that rate it wouldn't be payed off in his lifetime, but the PRIVATELY OWNED HOSPITAL was willing to take the risk. On a funny side note, after he finished school and got a decent job he saved a bit and payed it off. With all of his $2 payments on time and paying it off early it boosted his credit score a ton and he was able to get into his home alot sooner then if he hadn't had the surgery.
we do it in reverse. We'll allow you to be a parent untill proven incompitent.

well you just stumbled upon the major flaw of the democratic party. Lots of pretty ideas that alot of people can agree on, even some level minded plans to implement them. Sadly though they spend to much of their time giving eachother handshakes and blowjobs over what good people they are that they never get anything done.
Sometimes you make games you don't submit. Consider it practice and start taking on more ambitious tasks and when you honestly have as much fun playing a game as making it submit and see how it does.
I would love to support gay rights (marriage, adoption) just as soon as it's not being used as a trojan horse against christianity and other religions that find it moraly wrong. I bet you'd all be surprised to see how many supporters would come out if it weren't constantly presented as a "fuck you" to religion.
