As far as I know (I'm no expert on drug rehab though) they give heroin addicts methadone, which is supposed to give the same effects as heroine but not as bad for your health, and slowly reduce dosages.

We have a methadone clinic here and I know people who aren't addicted to anything, and go to get the methadone.

I have no idea how they're getting away with that; it seems like they'd test to see if you're really an addict, but whatever.

You'd think so. I know when I see 98, 99 % it's usually a day where it rains.

But they refer to our humidity levels as "opressive" on pretty much a daily basis.

When I get out of the shower in the summer or spring and try to blow dry my hair, it takes forever because the air in my house is so "wet".

Some mornings I wake up and my walls and floors are all wet from the condensation.

Pansy. Try 100% humidity. Happens here OFTEN.

I bought a box fan today for the living room. HUGE, called a wind tunnel.

My AC DOES work, but its so freakin hot, its still 85 freakin degrees inside my house.

Possibly. My main thought was "What man would put his breakfast on a china plate with such a flowery design?" A real man would just eat it right out of the skillet.

It's fucking not. How many people here were close friends with someone until they found out what their flaws are and now can't fucking stand them? I'm thinking every single one of us.

If you decide you can't stand someone because they are flawed, then you are much further away from transcendentalism than you realize.
