lol I've played NV hardcore and all it is, is basically wandering around the desert looking for water.
Your dehydration level stays depleted. and I get that it's the desert but jeeze. What about when I've just been sleeping in my casino suite???

I do but I only use it to update/add content for my obsession, Fallout.
In this case, Fallout New Vegas.
Fallout 3 you had to have live.

Oh, no. I meant that I banned stafff for 8 months for threatening to cause bodily harm. That's just how he says hello.
And he bought me a bagel so that's been called off.
It's nice to see you, Seven Seize. Did cd6 ever return?
I haven't seen him. :-(

So they gave it to him, he rigged it up to where you didn't need money to play, and we had Space Invaders in our living room.

As someone who makes more than 60K a year, BUT WHO IS IN NO WAY RICH-- I can tell you that I *AM* taxed way more than most people. I pay several thousand dollars back to the government every year. I don't look forward to January at all, there is no refund for me, it's another 3 or 4 thousand dollar bill.
And that's WITH a dependent. (Who I don't claim monthly-- I tell them to take the max out of my monthly paycheck)
So you can't make everyone happy and I don't give a damn. I'm a hard worker and I don't participate in tax evasion.
And anyway, I didn't come in here to whine, Just letting you know I don't get any money back.
On the issue of seatbelts, I had a friend in high school who died in a crash because she WAS buckled up. Then again, I totaled my car a few years back and walked away ok because I was buckled up.
On the issue of annoying billboards--I went to Florida a few years back and I counted---not even exaggerating, I counted-- 64 billboards against abortion.
I'm glad you have a cause but seeing fetuses and other religious propaganda for 6 hours straight was a pain in the ass.

I'm gonna have to agree with animehater and a few other folks who have posted in here, the replay value just isn't as good on this one. There was more to do, but less to discover....did that make sense?
Right now I'm doing a play through and trying to finish all the other npc storylines, like I finally did Raul's and got him that cowboy costume with the sombrero.
I'm also trying to find Easter Eggs.
I read the names on the NCR memorial at Boulder City and saw one of them said "Roger Westin III" which I will assume is a great grandchild of Roger Westin in Fallout 2.
Also, has anyone else gone to the cemetery at Camp Forlorn Hope and heard the creepy whispering?
Go to the graveyard behind the medic tent and just stand there. Turn down the music and turn up effects and master if you can't hear it. It's eerie.

In other words, would you let 98% of people sit on their asses and be handed food
We already do that in the welfare state south. I wish I were joking.
or would you demand that those 98% just find something to do, anything at all, as long as they work as much as the food workers, so it's "fair" to give them food?
We don't down here. And so we don't have money for anything else (roads, etc), because we keep giving people free food, free medical care, and a check for each child they have even though no one in the household is employed and can support those children. Oh and free housing and utilities.
But I know that your thread isn't about the welfare system and I will stop derailing it.
/rant
I agree with elfer in that, I would try to distribute the work load, and for people who simply couldn't, they would not be required to.
and I see your realization in how work time isn't necessarily always used effectively.
How would you choose the 2% to be employed I guess would be one issue, if work isn't mandatory for survival, the lack of work ethic would be worse.
It's an excellent concept to wrap your mind around. You come up some raging awesome conversation starters pox.

Got the wedding date and the venue. Got the party (though there will probably be drama from those I left out). Need an officiant and a DJ, first of all. I'm barely in and all the details are starting to overwhelm me.
Don't stress out over it, take it slow. Do a little at a time.
There is one girl I'm leaving out of my bridal party though she seems to automatically assume I'm putting her in. One, she's in a terrible financial situation so I can't ask her to drop money on stuff like a dress. Two, my fiance can't stand her, for justifiable reasons. Three, I'm not so sure she's reliable. I just know there will be a meltdown and it won't be pretty.
Oh well, it's your day and if she can't drop the drama, she's not really a friend you need to have around anyway.

They also heavily imply that you should continue by having the end boss be armed with unique equipment that you can never use and certain dialogue options in each ending implying that more stuff should be done.
I agree. In the FO3 capital wasteland, one thing I loved the most was being able to see how places/people had changed based on my actions. (Same thing with Fallout 2)
I'm hoping a DLC will be designed with that as the sole purpose. Letting you play in the world you created, based on your decision to join ceasar, the NCR etc.
This has probably been mentioned somewhere already but I need to name one of my pet peeves about this game.
I hate when you're approaching a building from the distance, and it has a front door. Then when you actually get up to the building, turns out the door is boarded up and you can't get in.
Also, the gun from Vicki and Vance's Casino--Can that actually be found/returned?
Man, same shit happened to me! Only it was a video driver issue--My computer totally crashed! Wouldn't even come on!
Couldn't get safe mode, nothing.
I ended up bringing it to the Geek Squad because I knew it wasn't a virus and it's a fairly new system. I'd already tried a system restore as well.
and they told me, " Vista is just crap and it had a conflict when you tried to update your driver and fried everything."
I worked on it for like a week and managed to salvage most of my stuff and get it running again.
But what a pain in the ass!
I don't know what to tell you other than be careful because it can ruin your entire system, and that I totally feel your pain.
