And there we go.

When I did that I noticed it was because the name was the exact same as someone elses. Try uploading it with a couple of extra spaces somewhere, it worked for me.

It's not the identical name message, it's the identical file message. I've gotten the identical title message before, but this one is different. Just tried submitting it again under two different names, and it still wouldn't work.

Response to: Ngfigure Voice Acting Contest Posted December 19th, 2011 in Audio

Tried to upload it, but it says that the file is identical to one that's already been submitted, so somebody has submitted it but they need to post it here.

I'll do the same if anyone needs an entry posted. Afterall, SirKillington and I do have a child together.

Though I am a bit worried about what's going to happen with her. There aren't many talented voice actresses on the internet, because most of them are just the only girls who took interest - so there's no way to weed the good ones out like there is with guys. But I'm sure they'll figure something out for this one.

I'm getting in touch with some of my actress friends to see if they'll each do Riley. At least then we'll have something.

Female VA's - get to it!

Seriously! And someone else needs to do Little Sin. I don't want any of that "win by default" crap...

Didn't take as long as I thought to pick a second one.

Having trouble deciding on my second character, but I figured I'd go ahead and do this one.
That's actually what I planned for my second. It's interesting to me that no one's going for him - he's such a zany looking character.

LOL, quite a coincidence. I was thinking of doing Jurnk as my second. But I think I'm starting to lean towards Angreh Fancy Panda or Throbulator or Grumpy Professor or AAAAACAN'TDECIDE!!!!

Well......... lets just throw the bologna in the crib and see who wins, jab a hickory stick and furiously wiggle it around to get them riled up. This damn thing isn't outliving me!

How can you say that about your own.....um....uh.....child......thing...
..?

I couldn't help it, I had to see its beautiful eyes. Look at your son, LOOK AT IT!

I shall name him....er....I shall name it, Fukky. He will tend to my iguana ranch until he reaches the proper age. Upon that time he will become a master librarian only to perish the following year in an epic duel to the death with a bologna sandwich.

As a response to all the sour grapes out there, listen. There is no such thing as losing in this business. The only time you lose is when you give up. When you quit. As a professional actor (you probably haven't seen me in anything unless you're a SERIOUS film festival goer or theater goer) I've met a lot of famous people, and the best advice I was ever given was from playwright Edward Albee.

"Excellence does not mean acceptance."

You can give the greatest piece in the world, and it doesn't mean that anyone will like it. Mr. Albee told me that what he considers his best plays were never successful and what he considers some of his worst were big hits. Shakespeare had mild success in his life, now he's the end all be all of theater. Van Gough was so unsuccessful as an artist that he killed himself so he wouldn't starve to death, and now his paintings are appraised as the most valuable in existence.

Winning doesn't come from a prize or a ranking or recognition, it comes from perseverance. No matter what place you come in, rejoice in the fact that people heard you! People saw your work! That's the only thing we can ever hope for. We are artists, not politicians. We don't need the vote. If even one person enjoys our work, we've won!

Don't be discouraged, be encouraged to keep on!

Wow, got a better score than I expected. I look at it this way, I may be in the bottom half in ranking, but my score isn't that much lower than those above me. I was actually pretty embarrassed of my submission, so getting a decent score is a good confidence booster. I'll work harder next time instead of churning something out while I'm busy with other work. Congrats to the winners! Seeya next time!

You need to accept phcohit71's entry. He may be new, but he's better than all of us.

Response to: Voice Acting Contest 7! Posted October 6th, 2011 in Audio

Well, I'm not at all satisfied with this, but I figure I may as well toss my entry in since I'm going out of town and won't have a chance to make another. So here goes.

Response to: Voice Acting Contest 7! Posted September 10th, 2011 in Audio

Got a script in the works. I'll have an entry pretty soon.
