when importing songs in flash , how do you properly time your animations to the music when flash only plays the music and keeps playing it , not stopping for pressing enter or anything.

i gotta mute the sound and play it from to top do do some timing ,when i wanna align an animation to a beat or something this gets pretty impossible .

is it just my verion mx proffesional 2004 that has this problem or do i need to convert the song into something else then mp3 , maybe there 's a setting i'm looking over ....? help wanted T_T
