You can't remember? Do you have Alzheimer's?

If I did, would I remember enough to answer your question in the truthfully?

It's weird that we saw him in the daytime. I thought bats only come out at night.

Are you aware that being a furry is looked down upon?

Sad, really.
Do you mean that it's sad that furries are looked down upon, or that being a furry is sad?

Would it be alright if I just posted a link to encyclopedia dramatica and did not actually answer your question?

If we talked about the Icelandic volcanic eruption, would that be close enough?

Response to: The Fukushime Problem? Posted August 29th, 2014 in General

Any permanent solution is likely to employ a lot of robots, since human beings can only handle so much radiation (even with protective suits). These robots and humans will somehow have to plug the radiation leak and then surround the damaged reactors in huge concrete sarcophaguses that could shield the public from it's radiation. Even that would be a temporary fix, since the radiation is likely to last a whole lot longer than any structure could. At least it would give the some breathing space to clean up the area closer to the plant and come up with a more permanent solution.

Response to: Al Roker Corn Maze And Canada's... Posted August 29th, 2014 in General

You've got to appreciate the dedication of making a corn maze like that, or a maize maze if you prefer. Roker really inspires dedication with a lot of people, especially those that grew up watching him when he first started out working in Cleveland.

As for the hitchhiking robot, it's a nice uplifting story. You have to wonder how this would work in a less friendly nation than Canada.

Response to: Fuel economy (non-hybrid) Posted August 29th, 2014 in General

It is common to beat the rated fuel economy if you drive relatively light and don't have many hills around you. Some cars get even better mileage than the best hybrids. They just tend to be small and under-powered.

Response to: Letsplayer Getting Swatted On Cam Posted August 28th, 2014 in General

Well this is screwed up. It looks like it's more prevalent in the U.S., where SWAT teams are more common though. Hopefully this is just a fad, albeit a stupidly dangerous one, and it will fade with time. Still, the chances of someone getting shot because of one of this pranks is not insignificant. I hope the people that pull these pranks start to realize this before people starting getting killed because of it. There are enough shooting in the U.S. as is.

I agree with Kazumazkan. There are a lot of games that are played by Russians, or at least have a large Russian contingent or Russian server. If you spend enough time there you will pick up the language and you will have plenty of people to speak it with. You could also, probably advertise in your local classifieds for Russian speakers. Chances are, someone will be willing to speak Russian with you on a continuous basis. They might be a little old, but practice is practice.

What we really need is the health department because he was two floors directly above us on the third floor and the apartment below him was vacant. Over the past several days there have been hundreds of flies in our kitchen coming from the light fixture. I have a hunch that he was probably leaking through the floor below him over the month he was up there and now all the bugs have nowhere to go.

Now we're killing tons of flies just for them to come back each day. My douchebag superintendent keeps giving me shit whenever I complain about these things, kinda like when I told him the ungodly smell was coming from an apartment and not the hallway and it turned out to be a dead body. >:(

Might be worth going to the press or the state over this thing. With bad super or bad landlords they often won't do anything unless they're actually threatened by a higher authority, and the higher the better. If your apartment is owned by a company that owns other apartments you might have some luck going to them too. Good luck, hope everything works out.

I rather know I have a month to live, so I can put my affairs in order and say goodbye to the people I love.

Would you rather sleep 8 hours straight or sleep 4 hours in 1 hour sleep cycles every 5 hours if you were equally rested either way?

Depends on who you ask, I suppose. Everything's normal to someone, everything's weird to someone.

Have you ever seriously questioned your sexuality (regardless of how you identify)?

No, I've never had reason too. I know some people view sexuality as a continuum and that makes a certain amount of sense, but I really can't remember a time where I felt desire for the same sex. I leave the possibility open for the future though.

Have you ever eaten kangaroo meat?
