Well, if it doesn't work out we can always try this all again in 10 years. They government has got to know that.

We already got a ton of rejects.

People's post often get deleted when accounts get deleted. If a person posted a bunch of threads and you posted in them the replies you made there will be deleted too.
Anyway, yeah Newgrounds traffic has decline. Of course it has also decline relative to the growth in overall internet traffic, so the statics sometimes overestimate the change. You would likely get just as good a statistical correlation to traffic by measuring how many forum posts were made over time or how many movies and games were submitted over time as you would would with some of those traffic stat graphs. At least the data is more complete here, traffic stat websites often just take periodic traffic samples, so they can miss quite a bit. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if we have a tenth of the traffic that we had at the height of this website's popularity.
So, apparently on Wednesday the Indian Space Agency will be moving its Mars Orbiter into orbit around Mars. That will may it the fourth agency to do so, ever. The only other groups that have managed it up to now are NASA, the Russian Space Agency, and the ESA. Plus, they did it all for avout $70 million. That's pretty impressive. You can read more about it at the link above or check the Indian Space Research Organization website for more info.
Congratulations to our user of the day, @AbsurdRandomness. Besides having an awesome name she is an active forum poster with over 6,412 posts including some very deep and long ones. She has also uploaded 18 movies to the portal.
Some News sites, like Barron's, The Economist, Foreign Policy, and the New York Times can survive with a paywall because their content is valuable enough that people are willing to pay for it. It is worth noting that free News is a relative aberration in the history of journalism.
Free digital news sites have only been around for maybe 10 years and they have corresponded will falling profits for Newspapers worldwide. Newspapers, on the other hand have been around for centuries and news gathering even long their that and they ran profitably for most of that time. Is it such a surprise that Newspapers and magazines would like to go back to that era?
Paywalls are a strategy more similar to a previous era. If they turn out to be more profitable than the current free ad supported model you can bet that all the major papers will start using them. Plus, if all the News sites were to start using a paywall tomorrow the average consumer would be forced to pay or go without. You have to imagine that News agencies, which are in the business of making money first and foremost, would love having a future like that.

Granted, you are in perfect health. Unfortunately the boat you're riding in hits an iceberg and you wind up in the water. Sharks circle and they pick you out first, since you look so healthy. When the rescue boats arrive the only survivors remaining are those too sick to be attractive meals.

Sure, as long as I didn't have to go out and be shot at in it. Even then, the chances of someone hitting the same spot twice is pretty low.

While that is true, the same can be said of a lot of the phone manufacturers on this list. Of course the main difference is that BBM doesn't have the extensive App stores of iOS and Android or the deep pockets of Microsoft. They are also dead last in terms mobile OS usage, so they're really going to have to up their game if they want to compete or even tread water.
Apple, Google, Samsung, and Microsoft are very capable rivals that have been able to claw much of Blackberry's market share away. The only way I see that changing is if Blackberry comes out with something drastically different that people really want. The history of Tech companies up to now doesn't have a lot of examples of a company like Blackberry being able to reinvent itself like that, but I wish them luck anyway. Still, if I was a betting man I wouldn't put odds on the company existing 5 years from now.

Sure, here you go.
I mean sure, urban dictionary can appear a little immature and Juvenile, but that's where new words and slang often come from. Young people, who most closely interact with new culture, ideas and trends will pick up on the new slang first. They often invent the new slang, and thus urban dictionary. I mean sure, it can appear a little ridiculous when you look at some of the stuff there, but that's the whole point. Would you rather not have a resource for checking out new slang words you hear for the first time and want a definition for?
I never got my ears pierced and I never intend to. I've never seen other guys where I thought it looked good on them and I especially didn't think it would look good on me, so it seemed kind of pointless for me.

Plausible sure, but the money and infrastructure to make it happen aren't there yet. Ultimately that is the most important factor in all of these innovations. Many such inventions and patents sit in dusty folders or computers for decades before someone can come up with a profitable use for them and drum up the requisite cash to make it happen. This car on the other hand at least seems to have both. That's not to say it won't fail to be profitable, but at least its a start.
Once they start building 3D cars like this, profitably other investors and companies that were sitting on the sidelines will likely feel comfortable enough to throw some cash at other 3D printer ideas, like the solar cells you mentioned. The other things you mentioned fall into that category too; things we know how to do, just not profitably on and at scale. They also need to be more profitable than the alternatives, otherwise it becomes a whole lot less likely that the technology will take off.
The last thing I cooked was a Vegetable and Pasta soup, though I over-spiced it a little bit.
Well I'd see a Deadpool Movie and I imagine a lot of other people would see it too, assuming it was good. There are enough viewers in the 18+ segment that a movie like this could easily be profitable, if they put the right spin on it. I imagine someone will eventually make a Deadpool movie, but we'll likely be waiting a while for it. I'm also not sure I'd want Ryan Renolds to headline it, but that's just personal preference.

Festivals sometimes have some real potent drug users at them too, since its easy to blend into a crow and not be noticed. Maybe you inhaled something unusual that you reacted to badly. It could be all the tobacco smoke too, if you're sensitive to that. It could also have been all the generators powering the rides. They give off a certain amount of soot and other chemicals and the concentration could have been just enough to set you off. Or, it could have been allergies, you were allergic to something you ate, something you came in contact with, or some local plant. Who knows, hope it passed quickly.

Here's the thing. Judging art is completely subjective, so their judgments are not very meaningful. Someone could come up to you and say you're music is the greatest thing they've ever heard, and they would be right. Another person could come up to you and say your music would be terrible and they would be right too. Even the most popular and celebrated music is only enjoyed by a small fraction of the population of the world.
So, don't lose too much sleep over other people's opinions, especially if they're not constructive. If you're happy with your music and a few other people you know enjoy it then you're doing pretty good. Think about it this way. You ask ten people what they think of your music. One says they like it and nine say they don't. There are 7 Billion people on the planet. That mean you have, potentially 700 million fans. Just do what you enjoy and try and improve in the ways you want to improve.
You can't please everyone and taste is entirely subjective. I mean, some of the greatest artists were not even appreciated in their day, but are viewed as masters now. Just don't view people's approval as a reflection on your work, because it really isn't. It's just an opinion, you shouldn't take it to heart. Also, beating yourself up about other people's negative opinions is not going to make your work any better, so it's not constructive. Of course that is easier said than done, just try to remember this when someone is criticizing your work. Also the internet is full of trolls, so some people will criticize your work, not because they don't like it, but because they want to get a reaction. Try not to fall for that trap either.
