Free software to make 16-bit music Posted November 5th, 2014 in Audio

I see people making SNES remixes, Genesis remixes, etc. They are pretty much a song using 16-bit console sounds. I want to make remake a Final Fantasy game in 16-bit. However, I am pretty much a newbie at this and have no experience whatsoever. I heard that you could use a "soundfont" but otherwise I have no idea what to do.
How do I get started?

I really began to respect him after I found out about it. Unfortunately he died shortly after it. Isn't that like getting a bucket of ice thrown into your face.

On the review rating, you cannot rate and report a review at the same time. Could you please make it so ratings do not interfere with the reporting? I know some of you will say "Be careful where you click" and stuff like that, but some people have wonky mice and if they try to report the review that was offensive and against the rules, they accidentally click the - or + button, with no way to report it.

As an extra question, would you get the whistle blown on you if you put up a misleading flash (ex. you put down something like "Hot Yiff Bestiality with male furry" and such, then you put up a rickroll instead of it).
