VIDEOGAME ARRANGEMENT THREAD

Hey musicians!

First of, I'm asking every single musician to help out, so if you might know anyone who'd be awesome at lending a hand, please please invite them over. The more songs the better.

My name is Callum Stamp. I'm an animator, director, screenwriter, voice actor, musician and a designer. I'm currently working on a huge project called "Super Nuke Bros. Melee" - a Flash game inspired by Super Smash Bros., wich is promising to be good. Oh yes.

In this game, we're having a system where you can collect various CD's, to add to your music collection. This way you can unlock new pieces of music to play on a stage.

I came here asking for reinforcement. We're looking for artists who want to provide arrangements of their favourite videogame themes. Overworld, Boss Battles, everything. I've listed the franchises you can choose from here:

Here are the rules:

Every franchise listen will be assigned with 2 songs maximum. If the list clears, you'll be able to make one for that franchise.

Please post wich song you'll do from wich franchise before starting a song.

You are allowed to edit a song you've already made, only if it is significantly different.

Only choose from these franchises, and don't take a random song like "Level 2 from the spin-off game's sequel", if you get what I mean.

All these franchises won't be represented by a character per se, but we'll need arrangements for them anyway.

When a franchise (Let's say Pokémon) has 2 songs already done, the franchise will become red.

Please check this thread to ensure you're not doing work for nothing, since the song you want to do might be taken.

I will update the list to show who is working on wich songs.

It looks decent, but it doesn't look finished.
It's like you're supposed to add more.

And that is variety. You guys all have SUCH
short parts, don't ruin the time you HAVE with
this collab to have 3 seconds of a tween of

By all means, add on to this. Make different drawings
of the character, different angles. Add screen shakes,
make it an experience.

That really doesn't have to be said, right? Clearly, some pieces will stand out more
then others, they'll deserve to be represented in the Co-Author list more.

Animation is coming along great. Doing main animation and backgrounds.

Will work on the menu after that.

I'm sorry to dissapoint you but that isn't very good at all.
And also, no one is looking for lip syncing or characters
singing the song. Be create, think of situations that catch
the feel of the song.

But seriously, what you've shown doesn't really show any
quality that I'm looking for or impress me. :/

Yeah, but try and keep your lines smooth, and your animation steady and changing. It's a short piece you have to animate to, go all out in that short period of time. Lots of different angles, shots, you get the idea.

I think a good collab organizer makes a collab good. Someone who can easily say: "Fuck, sorry man, this isn' t good at all" and someone who KNOWS what would make the collab a quality. Some people are happy enough with any parts; but you should look for good people and good animations. That way you could make a good collab, given the theme is interesting enough.

I'm certain we'll see some more cool collabs. I agree that some don't make much sense. ;)

I'm sorry, that's so far below the minimum quality I'm going for that you might not even want to try anymore. I need actual animators to make a part, not people who are still experimenting. I need this to look as clean as possible.

Anyone can join, just take a part and animate to it with the preferences listen in the first post.
