That's lame. Instruments are lame. You're lame.
I play a mean air flute, btw
I recently cleaned house on my Facebook account.
I now have between 50 and 70 friends. I wanted to keep going but didn't, lest I become reduced to between 5 and 7 friends.

That's as hipster as you can possibly get.
Wow. You have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. (thatkidkenji)
No it isn't...?
You realize that it's mainstream to try not being mainstream?
It is, actually. Don't worry, once you grow up and graduate from middle school, you'll begin to see how the world really works.
Also, look up the word "contrived" (mentioned in my last post).
Generally speaking, the personalities and outer appearances of 'hipsters' are both incredibly contrived. This is what's irritating to me... especially considering most hipsters try to act like they lead such alternative lifestyles. What a load of bullshit. Picking out bands you listen to and clothes you wear based solely on what effects they will have your outer appearance is incredibly trivial, and is about as mainstream as one can be.
A girl I was talking to a while back said that I have an "entry level" taste in music when I mentioned the band The Mars Volta. This girl is a freshman in college; I am a senior. I saw Mars Volta life when I was in eighth grade, which would put her in about fourth or fifth grade... again, I say: people like this are incredibly contrived

Nice post, man.
This petition has my support 100%
So, you're asking for tongue twisters?
Here's one, courtesy of Google:
"Can you can a can as a canner can can a can?"

How would you know? You 'don't befriend drug users,' so, clearly, you don't shit about them. You're twenty four, but you're seemingly as naive as a fourteen year old.

Very smart of you to stay away from pills. I used to have a very serious addiction and am only just now getting over it during my senior year of college. I have friends that been to jail, friends that have been to rehab, and friends that have died because of certain pills. Though I have never been to rehab or locked up behind bars, I have stared death in the face; and I have experienced physical and mental addiction in full force. All in all, it's up to you whether or not a product will run your life, though. I commend you for sticking to pot, something I wish my friends and I had done while we were teenagers.

I would much rather befriend a drug user than an someone who enjoys bestiality.
Agreed. Very well put, ean5!
I started doing drugs because I was initially genuinely interested in what it was like to smoke cannabis. Eventually, I developed my habit of smoking it in order to relieve boredom. This was also my gateway to doing other drugs. Psychedelics are amazing; they have always been able to provide me with a new perspective or understanding of my life, the world I live in and my role in it. Pills are fun and can also be helpful: xanax relaxes me and alleviates anxiety, while painkillers are just plain euphoric and awesome.

ahem Silk Road, bitcoin...
Funniest shit I've read all day right here.
Not going to lie, I think a lit portal would be pretty awesome to have here on Newgrounds... though I can certainly see it being overwhelmed with shitty fan fiction, I'm sure there are several quality writers that would contribute some great writing that would make having the portal worthwhile.
Not the same version, but this is the same song, which is apparently from The Producers.

Damn. Fine choice, Doctor.
Here are two fine songs that always seem to speak to me.
Skip James - Hard Time Killin' Floor Blues
Rev. Gary Davis - Death Don't Have No Mercy
God I love the blues.

Same.
Though I'm not too sure if that's really much different than what I would be doing anyway.
One idea I've always thought was rather interesting is the Buddhist belief of rebirth. Buddhists also believe in anatman (or, 'not-self') i.e. the idea that there is no permanent self or that our 'selves' are mere delusions. This idea seems to directly contradict the idea of rebirth (if there is no such thing as a self, then what is it that will be reborn?); but if you do some research into rebirth itself, you'll find that these ideas do seem like they can co-exist with another.

Very good point. I guess I was just acting out a bit. My bad!

Meh... I was really just complaining about the lack of pertinent information within a thread involving politics in the general forum, but I get your point.
"The uploader has not made this video available."
wut.
Also, the first movie was pretty damn entertaining, so I'm sure I'll go to see the second one... even if it has Jim Carrie.

You're right about that.
Though, to be fair, I did ask in an early post if you (or anyone else for that matter) had any further sources/articles in relation to the matter. Anyways, I wasn't really hoping to find additional information at this point... I was more so just assuming that this thread was being kept alive by some actual discussion of the topic, which doesn't seem to be the case (and was also dumb of me to assume, considering this is NG).
Maybe this thread would have been better off in Politics? I dunno, though; I never venture over there.
I keep coming back to this thread after seeing it has been bumped with the hopes that some valuable insight has been added to the discussion.
I keep being disappointed.

I'm not saying it is a hoax. Was simply sharing one of the 'sources' I found relating to the matter.
Can't wait to see what sort of fresh ideas this hot young Pope brings to the Catholic table!

Right? How could someone seriously say this shit?
Something is fishy here...
"In March, a referendum and denial of payment is approved by popular vote of 93%. Meanwhile, government officials initiate an investigation to bring to justice those responsible for the crisis. Many high level executives and bankers are arrested."
Have any other 'sources' for these events taking place? All I can find are various articles claiming this is all some sort of hoax
Since Pulp Fiction and Fear and Loathing were already mentioned, I'll go ahead and say...
Snatch.
Brilliant movie. It's on Netflix instant streaming (last time I checked anyway) if any of you want to watch. If you do not like it, you have my permission to hate me forever.
Blackity black black.
Whenever I order a black coffee on campus I get weird looks. They also still ask if I want any cream or sugar afterwards. No. I want a black coffee.

Just make sure you kick the habit of falling asleep in class once you get to college! Also, my auto-correct wants to 'fix' your name to "homosexual," which I found pretty hilarious.

Dude, shush. I'm trying to watch this shit. Here, take some popcorn.
I had no idea that Twinkies were ever gone. I don't know whether to feel ashamed or proud...
