Ugh.
I'm checking the Top 50 right now, and currently, it says that in position 2 is 'It's a Halo Thing' with a score of 4.36, but Tankmen 2, below it in #3, has a score of 4.37, but it's lower on the ladder.
Any reason?

My god! My first compliment on the BBS! I'm going to have it framed!
That's the most I've ever read in my life. But you've got a point.
I mean, if you went to parties and got drunk with 500 friends, why are you on the BBS?

Hmm. That's a good idea...

:D Sorry, I just had to take that out of context.
I think the FAQ needs to change from 2 years ago. It still says report a flash a malicious if it's been submitted without changes...
Having leeched shamelessly off this thread for over a month, I figure I should contribute something...

Also, this guy's flashes have around 0.5 ratings, which they got after judgement. Does this mean they still get to exist?
Thank you so much, both of you. It worked a charm.
You guys rock.
Have you created an effect? The code isn't meant to be copied and pasted, as I understand it. For example, you could have the variable 'two' become true, when the button is clicked. Then you'd replace 'effect' with true.
I'd personally put that script on the button, too
In my (limited) experience, no. Some people create an image that covers all the graphics around the edge, and says "If you can read this, the resoulution is too wide/long".
Could you have it set to, I don't know, a string, not a number?
(I work in Delphi, not Javascript, and NaN means the same thing in Delphi.)
Okay. I need some form of Actionscript that will fade out the music I have playing, at the rate I declare. I can't do it manually, because it depends on when the viewer is going to get off their ass and hit 'play' to play the game.
I experimented with variables, and having the volume have a certain percentage removed every second, but I couldn't - I don't have the skillz.
Is there a really simple way to do this? Really, all I need is all music to fade out on cue - or even on a button click.
Jerry Seinfeld. Despite the fact that he's a bee.
Anyone who messes with him is a fag.
Although, on a more Australian level - you probably haven't heard of Rove McManus, but he's a classic... or, Andrew Hansen from The Chaser - they're the guys who got within a couple of hundred metres of your bloody president when he went to Australia.

Do you think we should take down odds on who will win?

But then another, possibly even more smartass, mod decided to post in it; declaring his victory.
This continued for some time, until presumably they all got bored and gave up.
I do not remember who won.
Hey, it's all good.

Hmm. "Final Fantasy Sunshine Invasion" sounds good.
I'm about 1/4 of the way through a flash game I've been making, on and off, for about 3 months. I just don't really have a name. Or a plot. But I figure the name is more important. :D
Ugh. How do people create name for games? Is there a game name generator?
And it seems that Portal just won the Good Game Game of the year award.
Woo! Go Portal! It made purchasing it with Team Fortress 2 look somewhat appealing!
