Thank You, Tom! Posted March 16th, 2008 in General

As the General section of the BBS reaches 1,000,000 topics, I felt it necessary to create a thread to inflate Tom's ego.

Tom's created the world's greatest site, and he's generally awesome. So, this is just a brief thread to say, "Thanks Tom! And hurry up with Pico 2!"

Feel free to chuck in your own thanks to Tom as you wish. If you wish.

Thank You, Tom!

Also, as for the letter codes, you need to use numbers. Add a number from 64. So, if you add 64 by 23, then the button you will need to press is W. I hope this helps.

Hang on a second. THAT'S HOW IT WORKS?

I've been struggling with that piece of code for 2 weeks! Goddammit.

Well there is always browsing like I said. Say I wanted to play an adventure game. Then I would go to games > adventure games and maybe play some of the ones on there. If yours is on there then it might be that one that I play :)

That doesn't mean all Adventure games will be on it though, does it?

Once it's out of the portal, it will get no more attention, unless you become well known as an animator. Sad but true. Unless it's in a collection.

Response to: Timewarp Collab (flash 1 Collab) Posted March 16th, 2008 in Game Development

I still support this collab even if I've been dead for a while :P . I'll have what this project needs on 30th. Would be nice if there was an update tho.

Be careful what you wish for!

I have contacted two new people, who are interested in participating. Be nice when they post.

Also, have I included anyone who's dropped out in this list?

Oh, we know it's fake. We're studying propaganda, so we're looking at how this was made so believable.

HOWEVER, I'm allowed to request to the Queensland Studies Authority that a different genre film be watched, (My teacher recommended Forgotten Silver), that explores the same concept (making people believe in something fictional), so I don't have to view it.

I'm scared... Posted March 10th, 2008 in General

FucIf you're going to understand my dilemma, you have to get a little backstory. Then, I need actual advice. When I was young - around 8 - I saw The Blair Witch Project with my parents - they didn't really think it could scar me like it did. :P The result? I'm fucking scared whenever it comes to that film.

Of course, what film does my teacher pick us to study for horror? TBWP. I can't get past the first 5 minutes without turning it off out of fear, and I'm nearly 10 years older.

What the FUCK do I do? I can't complain in class, (social suicide), and I can't analyse the film from an 8-year-old memory. So what do I do? I'm scared just thinking about the film.

This is going to hurt, but hell, I can't get advice any other way, can I?
