Response to: woman President, are we ready? Posted September 25th, 2006 in Politics

Regardless of what anyone really thinks right now a female president is inevitable.
Just as diplomats in colonial times laughed at the concept of women being able to vote, people today ((read the entire list of preceding posts)) are basically laughing ((or just plain scared)) at the concept of a female president.

But the fact of the matter is women have the right to vote today. Even though they thought it would never happen. Its only logical to assume that eventually there will be a woman elected into the presidental office. Its just a matter of time.

But I am a little worried about the whole PMS thing when it comes to diplomatic affairs. That might cause some problems........

Response to: Abortion: It's OK Posted September 25th, 2006 in Politics

Abortion on the Whole base of is and has come down to choice of the mother. The Fetus itself is not even living until it can survive on its own. Until then its a part of the mother and like as previously stated more like parasite if anything else. (Even though its amazigly cynical to say so.) Personally I am pro and against abortion. Call me a moderate if you will.

Abortion in my eyes is ok provided it is performed before a certain time in the period of pregnancy. For instance lets say some guy gets a chick knocked up or w/e and they find out a week after and the mother decides not to have the kid. I think its perfectly alright if the mother has an abortion asap or some other medical procedure that would stop the rest of the pregnancy.

ON the the other hand i think it is against all ethics if you decide to abort a child, lets say 8 months in the prgnancy. At that point you practically have a living being that would have a chance of survival even if it was born prematurely. If you let if come to this point to abort then you are irresponsible to the extreme.

At this point youre fucking stuck, sorry but its the truth.

Response to: News Story of the Day: March 1 Posted February 21st, 2006 in Politics

The basic response as I get it seems that most of you see that the christian youth groups should be allowed to meet at the school provided that all groups regardless of relgious affiliation are allowed to meet there.

So as stated above if there were christian youth groups meeting in one room, there could be satanic groups in another and there would be no problem.

Is this what you're saying?
