Cintiq For Sale! Posted June 13th, 2014 in Art

I am sadly parting with my cintiq 21ux, but I am sure that an artist on here would do well with it. It's selling for pretty cheap, and it is in perfect working condition! There are no scratches on the drawing surface. I babied this thing and it shows. Here is the link

Even if it in no way effects performance and is purely aesthetic, sure. Here is a reference for the dead pixels.

Slightly Used Cintiq For Sale. Posted March 19th, 2013 in Art

Hey guys, I am selling my Cinitq 12wx and I thought it would be mutually beneficial to advertise it on here. I seriously recommend it for any artist no matter the skill level. I have had it for six months and I decided with the money I saved up from work I wanted to get the larger one. The tablet I am selling is like brand new (I treated it as if it were a small infant). It dramatically increased the speed of my workflow and made it much easier to trace and draw in general. Cintiq's are the wet dream of all digital artists, so if you have been craving one for a while this is the perfect opportunity to get what every artists deserves.

Cintiq 12wx: Help Posted February 26th, 2013 in Art

Just saved up and purchased myself a brand, spanking used cintiq 12wx. There is a line of dead pixels right in the center of the screen so I am thinking of sending it back. My problem is whenever I switch back to my intuos 4 I have the greatest difficulty drawing. It is like I can't do it and my mind has switched to drawing with the cintiq. Should I just force myself to get used to using the intuos again?

I couldn't help it.

I'll just leave this here. I am sure eventually someone would suggest it. Oh and sweet21, I own this thread.

Sorry to say, but I couldn't keep up with the high influx of unconventional drawing ideas.

Not even a nibble. I knew that the long and foreboding wall of text may have repelled some, however my original prediction was not quite as extreme as this. Seriously, not even a bite? That teaches me for trying to reach out to a community of narcissistic, apathetic, inconsolable losers. Prove me wrong, Newgrounds.

I Need A Programmer! Posted July 22nd, 2012 in Collaboration

Inunco 2017 is an up in coming game that I hope to create. All that is needed to begin work on the project is a programmer. I am looking for an individual of high-expertise who would be willing to co-create a game with me. The details are as follows.

Plot Synopsis: You are Quentin. One of the last actively training warriors from a small clan of villagers off the coast of eastern asia. The nationally heralded sport of you people, which was popularized in the late 60's, has been abandoned leaving the economy of your native country in shambles. After dropping sharply in viewership due to lack of funding and the plateauing of competition among players, hook tossing has languished into obscurity. Now, nearly a half of a century later, a shady corporate sponsor seeks to reinvigorate the sport by tracking down the last remaining, practicing "hooks-man" and fund his world record attempt. This individual is you. The longest hook throw is an achievement which had been previously bestowed upon your father. Virtually un-matched since the end of the sport in 1967. Impress the vicious world of corporate America and restore honor back to your people. Using a variety of hooks, rope lengths, and body-enhancing drugs you vie to break your fathers seemingly unattainable world record toss.

Gameplay Description: The primary game mechanic is similar to that of a throw game. Initially the player will determine the strength and pitch of the throw, then comes a pre-rendered animation of the character throwing the hook. The play-style of the game stems from a choice the player makes when beginning a "new game". There are two hook trees which each offer positives and negatives. There is a third tree, however, it is only unlocked after beating the game once. The first, and easiest to control, is that of the spear or weapon category. Killing enemies gives the player boost, which increases as the hook advances. Enemy types are specific to the biome of the current frame. Each new hook can be purchased for an increasing amount of in-game currency. Money is gained from killing foes or collecting treasure chests. There are three hooks in the weapon category, which each are imbued with special properties. The Weapon hook category is good for achieving farther distances, however the character does not get as much money which may make it harder to advance. Secondly comes the Pick or Standard hook tier. This choice makes the player's experience more centric to collecting treasure chests, which dot the randomized landscape and give the player a boost. However, these hooks are less aerodynamic and will inhibit the player from advancing distance wise. Hooks must be balanced with rope length, as well as strength which may be heightened by pharmaceuticals. At certain distance intervals, a randomized sponsor will allot the player with a random passive bonus that gives the player a slight advantage in the game. This implores replay-ability and gives the experience more depth. No in game currency is given for distance. Upon beating a personal record held by a specific individual a memento appears in the game's "Player Card" directory detailing the achievements of those who came before you. Sponsors give a slight cash bonus upon consignment. Once the player has sufficiently buffed his/her character it is possible to complete the game by reaching the world record at the end and taking ownership of a treasure chest at the end. Located in this chest is the first hook of the third tier, indicating that they can be played as well as quite a chunk of change. This may be used to max out his/her character as he/she will be allowed to aimlessly toss their hook as far as they please. Upon completion of the third tier, whose hooks are harder to control and each give varying effects, the character is given a golden crown which may be worn in future play-throughs. Hats are also be available for purchase in-game, which give no effect other than looking nice.

I am looking for someone with knowledge of AS3, or perhaps eve AS2. Programming for this game would be relatively simple, given the content of the game. I look forward to your response! Feel free to discuss below.
