It just pisses me off, i hate how the tools are in a seperate window from the image. And I don't know how to work the transparency. The only thing i can do is take red eye out of photos with it.

I'm just gonna stick with mspaint.

LIBERTY FUCKING CITY

It's good to see that the location is now a proper New York (or Liberty City, or whatever they're calling it).

Are you guys really arguing about semantics?

The trailer wasn't that great imo. Blatantly prerendered in places. Some stuff looks all shiny and next gen but most of the modelling looks cheap.

I hope there's a big change in gameplay rather than it just being an upgrade of san andreas like the rest of the series.

Response to: Fuck Microsoft Posted March 30th, 2007 in General

To me it just seems like when they came out with the smaller silver ps2. Yeah it looked alright and had better cooling but it didn't make me want to buy a new one.

I'm honestly not anal enough to give a fuck about hdmi, I can understand some videophiles getting worked up about it though. If I had to buy another today i'd actually just get a second hand one off ebay or something rather than that elite shit.

You think that's the best anyone's ever played at blackjack or something? They shuffle randomly to stop you card counting. I've seen guys turn much less into much more. Shit, I've started on £5 and ended up around £60. Thing is you tend to keep going on though.

At 3/30/07 04:02 AM, timmysjp wrote: True, I'm just saying that luck is more of an issue in blackjack than in poker, and the more skill involved in a game, the more fun I have playing and learning the game.

I'd say theres more skill in blackjack, learning all the strategy and stuff. Like say if you have a face card and the dealer has pulled a 5. The dealer will have to hit twice no matter what if the house can't stick below 17. If your playing with 6 decks (casino standard) you can work out the chances of a certain card coming up next and play the odds. Then there's betting strategies and shit.

I'm not saying I support him. The rules shouldn't be changed for the shit that does get in.

But there's too much crappy flash porn on NG, just gives a bad image to the site. If it's got to the point that wikipedia links about it then it must be pretty prominent. I'd like to know the page views per month of the mature section vs other parts of the site.

Response to: Mick Jagger V.s. Jim Morrison Posted March 28th, 2007 in General

Mick Jagger has more charisma and can handle the drugs, but Jim Morrison tended to be more abstract leaving room for individual interpretation and a personal connection to his songs.

Personally I like The Doors better, and they're named after one of my favourite books. Mick Jagger is hardly a living legend though, how many people go to see The Rolling Stones for their new material? It's just a nostalgia thing tbh.

Jim Morrison died young when he was really popular so he has that Kurt Cobain kind of permanence and familiarity. But I'm being too much of a wanker.

All the RE series are on PC (except from the really shitty ones, like survivor). Only logical that they'd continue to milk their most popular titles.

Though I can't really imagine anyone waiting for dmc3 on pc just to play it.
