Think about it, you have to make a .cs file to accompany something, but you don't feel like creating an auto cs, or you don't want to quit the game if something goes wrong.
So ingame, you can modify, and edit your cs file, save it, and execute it from the developer's console without having to close the game, and update your auto execution file.

The console has saved my ass once... lol long story short, my game was having major lag probs and it almost crashed my PC I think and I took a look at the console and it was spewing out errors like no tomorrow so I did what I had to do and fixed it.

The one thing I hate about Gaming consoles is that they don't have a developer's console like some of the PC games, and I have no Ideal why. Except for some of the older gaming consoles, but the PS3 for example has a keyboard window that pops up and that could help with the developer's console.
Wouldn't it be cool if newer games for gaming consoles had that?

Also; Bad Company 2 is my personally preferred game. Fun vehicles, cooler weapons that I haven't seen many times before, and no annoying perks; although Magnum Ammunition is slightly painful.
