When cold water gets poured on Shampoo, she turns into a cat. The joke comes in to play because Ranma has an extreme phobia of cats. Also Ranma turns into a girl when getting cold water poured on him. They change back with hot water. It's a curse they have because they fell into a spring that had whatever they change into drown there.

I think it stands for Original Video Animation. I'm not sure though. It's kind of like a short of the anime. It's not exactally a part of the original story line but it's kind of the same. But I've noticed that there are things called OVA that didn't have an anime before them so I'm not sure. I don't have a whole lot of anime knowledge. :(

I believe it's for the purpose of spamming and flame wars. They don't want spammy posts over and over again. Plus there will be someone posting something every 2 minutes and that will take up alot of space on the site probably (I'm not sure about that part). So I can understand it. It's only 4 times in each topic. and it's a whole 30 minutes. If you use up 4 posts in here then you can post again somewhere else. Until your 30 minutes is up. I try to regulate it by posting once every 7 1/2 minutes.
