And there it is. After an entire development thats total press releases added up to 12 screenshots and a short video monologue, the first videos of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex have started to pop up on the internet.
So far, it seems, it's held up to the promises Teryarch made about it. It's definitely better looking the previous efforts, with significantly beefed up texture resolution, and the all the AI, maps, levels, and non-graphical goodness from the original are present, minus a slightly scaled back multiplayer. Only 10 players per game, meaning no more groundwar mode (but, honestly, did anyone play that?), but the rest is there.
The models look decent, but they're still painfully boxy, and there's a few snafuus here and there (check Gaz's gun in the first video, and relatively crappy lighting), but otherwise I'd call this a successful effort.
