I'd try it, but be aware you'll have to do some series tweaking to the control layout to minimize how much you have to use the face buttons (which will be placed far away from your hands in an awkward spot). In fact, just from thinking off the top of my head, a pistol + nunchuck would probably work better for aiming, but at the same time make accessing the face buttons even harder.

Well Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is a great rail shooter, but they're not my cup of tea. However Darkside Chronicles looks to be more promising than Umbrella Chronicles. Whenever people are looking for Wii games I always suggest MadWorld. However if you're looking for a rail shooter then Umbrella Chronicles or Darkside would be good. As for House of The Dead I've heard it's very promising indeed.

I've played a few minutes of Umbrella Chronicles, and it didn't really do anything in terms of frightening, surprising, or delighting me. I'm more into House of The Dead for the nostalgia effect.
And MadWorld, even though I was excited at first, has generated some mixed reviews and generally lost my interest. Doesn't really have anything going for it, just hack 'n' slash and more hack 'n' slash.

It's because Treyarch is Activision's bitch. Activision wants games set in the past because they're confident that those sell well, but more often than not present / future games flop. In fact, Activision tried to stop Infinity Ward from making Modern Warfare 1 and 2.
Only thing is, Infinity Ward knows they can do whatever they want because they make Activision so much money. Treyarch HAS to do what they say because they haven't proven themselves to be a strong enough developer to be beyond the risk of getting dumped for somebody else.

Yeah, they don't group their numbered major installments separately from their nonnumbered major installments, so some numbers get passed over for the sake of a subtitle (which, really, would've worked with or without a number). Still looks decent in my opinion. They certainly could've done a lot worse (and did, with 3 and WaW). No use bagging on what is, to date, the most successful Wii port in both Call of Duty's history, and the Wii's in general.

Well, there's a big difference between propaganda, and media that supports a specific subject.
