You do know the KJV has been heavily edited, right?
I'm talking thousands and thousands of edits here.
And yes, on those contradictions, there are plenty.

Tis a Great idea.

The Bible does not contradict itself;
Are you talking about this particular passage, or the whole bible?
Because if it is the latter, you are horribly mistaken.

Thanks for clarifying : /
I'm not saying that more Christians necessarily get incarcerated because they're Christian, but when you have bullshit topics like this, and the general Christian population at large, make it seem as though Christians should be superior in terms of morality, it really doesn't make sense.
For general reference, Wikipedia kicks arse. But when it comes to anything remotely controversial, don't bother.

Your post makes zero sense whatsoever.

Various councils over the years have edited the bible to suit there interpretation, and emitted things that go against their personal views.
And I recall learning about some pope or other ordered the burning of various gospels, because he didn't like how it made Jesus appear.

So, you're driving too fast, maybe been drinking a little. You get distracted, and there's a little girl crossing the road. BAM. Bitch hits your windscreen. Snaps her neck and dies instantly.
Are you saying you would just "get over it"?

I dispute that it is a minority.
And when you study the life of Mohamed, it's hard to say that the Koran teaches against such acts.
Like I pointed out in said thread, the OP claims that Humans are fallible and as such human law is pointless, yet I'm willing to bet he follows less than half of the laws set out in the bible, which would suggest that god himself is fallible, and/or that his law is pointless.
As you said, there is no universal morality, but rather a universal morality catalogue.
If a Christian sins against someone, he must ask for forgiveness from the lord, which he always seems to receive.
If an atheist "sins" against someone, he must seek the forgiveness from the person he sinned against, which is often impossible to receive, meaning he/she may live with a guilty conscious for a large part of his live.
The republicans want to make the US a theocracy, more like it.

I'd die for your right to have your beliefs. It's just when stupid shit goes down like telling Africans condoms are faulty etc. when I get angry.
But you seem like a reasonable guy, and I'd like to thank you for being a good non-atheist poster in this thread.
Christians: "Don't base your opinions of all Christians on a few Christians, you moron."
"Haha one stupid atheist made a stupid thread therefore all Atheists are retarded idiots"
Islam is a bad thing.
That's not to say in any way that all Muslims are, but the ideology leads to so much evil in the world.
And I don't EVEN mean flying planes into buildings. If the OP knew how many human rights abuses are committed under Islamic Theocracies, I think his opinion would be vastly different.
Good to see this topiochas since stopped all religious topics from being made in politics.
O wait

If you paid attention to all the Christians on the internet who make similar claims about atheists, you'd be drowning.
Make it available, yes, but by no means should anyone be forced to learn Spanish.
As for the ten commandments, the first four have NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING MORAL.

Funny how 95% of American prisoners are Christians : /
We as humans are falliable, therefore we have a higher being to guide us down the right path of life.
Yes. We need god's timeless wisdom to lead a moral life.
For example: Deuteronomy 13:6, 8-5
-Kill anyone who attempts to persuade you to worship other gods.
Leviticus (all)
-Stone to death people who: commit heresy, homosexuality, idol worship, practice of sorcery; grow multiple crops in the same field, wear attire comprised of two fabrics, and a wide variety of other imaginary sins.
And yes, I can hear you now, angrily replying that Christians aren't supposed to follow these laws any more. But if these laws are no longer followed, doesn't that make god fallible?
thanks for playing though

I want you to think about what you just wrote.
there is no way a creature such as man could have come to be purely by chance
Says who? Your uneducated, anime obsessed mind?
I'm not saying I am without a doubt about evolution/beig bang etc, but to say it's impossible is plain moronic.
so therfore proving that a higher being does excist but proof denys that faith so god cannot excist.
Because some supposed logic you read in a shitty sci-fi novel is applicable to real life?
You whole damned post makes no sense whatsoever. You're basically saying "The fact that humans are so complex proves god exists, which proves god doesn't exist."
