Happy birthday hon! Sorry I forgot.
I have two turkey legs sitting in my fridge now. I'm the only person in the family who likes dark meat. Also have mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing. I'm pleased the stuffing survived as it was my favorite.
I'm not having turkey sandwiches per se as I don't have any bread at the moment. I'll probably just sprinkle the gravy on top, the same way I eat turkey on Thanksgiving.
The new trimester starts Monday. That's good. I seem to be losing my ability to occupy myself, and my sleep schedule is out of whack.

Wait...MERCOSUR is in charge of passports there? If they are that's something I never knew about MERCOSUR.

This afternoon when I went home, we did start on the stuffing. Got the veggies chopped, seasoned, and stir fried and the bread mixed in. Now it's sitting in a crockpot. Mom's doing the pies this evening. Our turkey was nowhere near thawed, but we were at least able to get the giblets out so that should accelerate the process. We also set up all the silverware and whatnot so that's ready. We'll just have some last-minute stuff to do tomorrow like the mashed potatoes and gravy.
My younger cousin and his parents are coming tomorrow. The cousin's older brother had his wisdom teeth out today so I doubt he'll come around. How lame is THAT? I was considering maybe offering him a bowl of gravy though. There are two others coming two.
When I went into the garage this afternoon, I not only fell, I slammed my finger in a metal door in the process. It still hurts. Mom said she was sorry she wasn't around to see me fall. My family tends to think injury is funny.
I tried searching for Google and it wouldn't let me. It said "No. Mystery Google."

The Twilight underpants were actually made as a joke and a satire on obsessive fangirlism, so that's why I find their popularity funny.

Nah, it was just some idiot thinking he was doing a favor. Someone called him out on stealing it and he said "Yeah, I know it's stolen, but it's not on Newgrounds yet so it's not that big of a problem." *headdesk* I know there were a couple fileswaps yesterday though.
I would have ruled out a film major anyways due to the fact the degree is about as useful as a fine arts or music theory degree. Both of those are worth jack shit. Go with something you can actually get hired in after getting the degree.
Here's something I don't get about the abusive review policy. If you know for a fact that something is stolen, then why can you get flagged for saying so? Because if something stolen slips through the Portal, like it just did, then I consider it kind of a public service announcement to say so. (I also did PM Wade about it so I'm not just blowing off steam here.)
When I went to grad school, I used the gym there a lot. About a month after I graduated, said gym had a problem with MRSA. *twitch* Glad I missed that.
This place requires me to bring a change of shoes. I can understand why, but it's a bit of a pain. Supposedly they don't have lockers either, but I may be able to score one on the bottom floor since I'm a commuting student. Even so, it's not like I have to bring a ton of stuff--just keys and the ID card.
I may have to start heading to the campus rec center. Dieting alone doesn't seem to work. *sigh*
I'm glad I don't have that much weight to lose and am not huge. I'd say 15 pounds. Still, though, I don't feel that great about myself, despite my boyfriend thinking I'm okay.
Earlier this year, when I dropped all that weight for whatever reason, I didn't like how tiny I was, so I'm hoping to reach a good medium here. Of course, the holiday season coming up doesn't help.

Very happy about numbers 2 and 3. I was hoping #2 would be on the list someday, even if it didn't have all the features of the sequels. I spent many happy hours playing it. #3 was also awesome back in the day.
If there's any left, I'm gonna take some leftover turkey back here to my apartment. It's free and I need to remember to eat more meat. Last year there were no leftovers. We had a 20-lb. bird and everyone ate everything.
Actually, I should take other leftovers too. They're free and I can stay out of the grocery store a bit longer. Assuming we have that many. We're having fewer people this year. My one cousin is having his wisdom teeth out the day before Thanksgiving. How lame is THAT? I was considering offering him a bowl of gravy.
The holidays do worry me a bit since I'm trying to lose weight. My body has done weird things since last year. I suddenly dropped 25 pounds due to stress over the course of the year and it's come back and then some. I dunno if the drop has anything to do with it though.
The problem we had with vampire fiction when I worked at the library is that the market has begun to become saturated. Teenagers in particular have already moved on to the next thing and we didn't want to order any more vampire books since they began just collecting dust. The Twilight series were really the only vampire books going out.
The zombie market is beginning to flourish, though, so I assume they'll continue buying zombie books...until that market gets saturated and the readers move on to the next thing.
I realized something earlier. If I had a teenage daughter, I could be the evil mom.
"No, you're not going to the midnight premiere of New Moon. It's a school night." MWAHAHAHA.
What privacy laws? School authorities are allowed to check backpacks whenever they damn well please, as long as there is probable cause. If you come to school reeking of nicotine or pot, there's your probable cause right there. Unless you're using the bathroom, there is no privacy in schools.

It was great. The garlic and herb kinda seasons it for you, though I always season my beef with my preferred seasoning anyways. I have never been able to duplicate the chili that girl made, probably because she also used some leftover herbs from her garden.
Learned an interesting chili recipe from the girl that won the chili cook-off at work last year. The secret is to use a jar of Prego's Roasted Garlic and Herb sauce. Beyond that, use whatever the hell you want, but make sure it's in a slow cooker.
You're the dumbass that didn't take the breathalyzer test. Someone ought to charge you with something for stupidity.

Have you played Dadgame? Dadgame reminds me a lot of River City Ransom. Like Dadgame, you can use whatever weapon you want. Trashcans, fists, chairs...each other. The action is all over the place in the same way...well, in NES-limited formats, of course. There's also a lot of ridiculous comic stuff, like if you get a bowl of soup, you eat the bowl as well.
Majesco didn't care about the Cooking Mama game by PETA. They just considered it free publicity.

No kidding. XD Only problem was I went over time, because I was trying to fit in stuff that just happened 24 hours prior, like the blackout and the deployment of the Army to the San Pedro Department.
Now I'm it Pittsburgh with my boyfriend, which is a nice change of pace. I only have Spanish left, so if I were in my apartment, I'd probably be playing videogames and occasionally studying for my Spanish final.
I was surprised to see a post from Sante. I thought of him not too long ago.
My only other worry now is that back tire. My car will be sitting by the curb until tomorrow, so I hope the pressure doesn't go down too much. The good news is there's a 20-degree difference between here and where I onormally park, so the presure will be higher.
I've been told that the game/site bombs your computer with adware, which I am inclined to believe. The game's ads have also turned me off in their desperation, making the previous poster's point about alienating a female audience (and one that might pay them money).
Um, no. We use Blackboard in the classes I just finished this trimester and there is no lockout time, unless you didn't do it by the time that the assignment ended. For example, if it was due at midnight, there's no submitting it at 12:01 AM. It's open from the time the professor opens it to whenever it ends. If you didn't the indicated time period, that's your fucking problem.
You know what? Everyone on the planet has to stick to deadlines. What do you think careers consist of? Sounds like you're just whining because the professor wanted you to do work outside of class. God forbid.
Presentation on Paraguay this afternoon. I'm nervous as hell.
...it also doesn't help there were a ton of new developments overnight either...

You can get away with doing that to a dog, but not a cat. I still remember how angry my boss' cat was when she put her in a Halloween costume.
Though that dog does look big enough to be a reindeer or pull a sled. One reason I don't want a large dog is I'm only 5'1" and can barely handle a big dog. Even my friend's trained guide dog, a black Lab, is hard to control at times.
What background programs are running on your computer? My wireless occasionally cut out before until I realized that my printer update software was what was causing it. Another possibility is that someone's piggybacking off your connection. Is it encrypted?
It never fails. Every time I want to go to Pittsburgh, something happens to my car. Seems this time I have a slow tire leak, but that's minor. It explains why my car drove funny today though. Judging by the performance over the past week and the tire pressure numbers Dad read, the tire didn't lose all that air overnight. He doesn't seem too concerned, just told me to keep an eye on it, and if it continues, we'll got get it patched, assuming that a hole is the problem.
Good news, though--the written part of my Paraguay project is done. I just need to make some minor changes, then tomorrow I'll get it bound. Though I will also be taking a break to get my nails done before I go out to dinner Friday night. LOL. That was Mom's suggestion. I wonder what color goes well with a black dress and black open toed shoes.
