Dump her. Trust me, you don't want to be associated with a slut like that. However, she may use the baby to try and make you stay, or do other things for her, which is very, very low.

It is, and it's set somewhere in the US.

Agreed on both counts.

Adoption sounds....well....how can I say this...dirty.

Sorry if i sounded a little quick with suggesting abortion. It's not as bad though as the baby all grown up hating your guts thinking you didn't care about him.

Not true. I'm adopted and have no hard feelings. Don't believe everything you see on TV.

There was an article in the paper today about a patch they just put out. I already downloaded it.

Have you ever read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury? I can see our society headed in that direction. I'm not only talking about the repression, but also the vapidity of Mildred and the majority of society.

My professor assigned the book to us. It's my third time reading it. He told us to look for parallels to Stalinism, and they're there, but I see it as more of a commentary on society than anything else.

I like hentai, but I don't want to see it on NG. I come here for Flash, not hentai or porn. I can just surf the net for those two.

Linda McDougall had both of her breasts removed when a doctor confused her files with those of a woman with cancer. All McDougall will get is 250k. I agree that not all "pain and suffering" cases are legitimate, but in light of what happened to this woman, it doesn't seem fair.

Still, malpractice suits are a problem, and perhaps the cap is the best way to go to begin rectifying it.

None of this bothers me. I can usually tell what type of topics I want to skip by the title. However, I do agree we also need to eliminate any topics that are sexist towards men if they come up. There is no place here for double standards.

Later! Posted March 5th, 2003 in General

Not like anyone's gonna miss me, but still...

I'll be on spring break until the 16th. I'll be in from time to time, but keep in mind that I'm stuck with a 56K modem.

If things go well, I'll be a Level 10 by the time break is over!! :D Also, I'd love to hear about Wade's son whenever he's born. I guess I am a woman at heart after all.

You politically correct bullshitters are what's wrong with the world today. Ever hear the saying "keep it simple, stupid"? The next thing you'll post is something telling us not to call old people "old", but rather, "chronologically advanced".

PC lobbyists = bunch of whiners.

I think low quality graphics are just supposed to enhance the cuteness factor. The same thing is done in the Harvest Moon games.

Interesting fact: There is only one reason prostitution is illegal in Reno, NV. It's because men bet more money when they bring their wifes or families.

Response to: Court: Pledge unconstitutional Posted March 1st, 2003 in Politics

The words "under God" were first placed in the Pledge of Allegiance in the 50's as a way to fight the "godless" Communists.

If the phrase "under God" is so offensive, why doesn't someone either remove it? Or perhaps it could be voluntary. One of my Wiccan friends likes to insert "under Goddess" in there as a substitute. There's one way to solve the problem.

At all the schools I went to, you didn't have to say the Pledge, but you had to at least stand. Fair enough.

Being female on the internet makes you a target. I have found that it's best to use a gender neutral name in chat rooms to keep the perverts away. Also, after I removed myself from the AIM Directory, the 15-year-old punks quit asking me for cybersex. I'm not against it--hell, I've done it for a while. But I don't appreciate some young horndog hitting on me out of the blue.
