When did you first learn about Newgrounds?

Around 1999, I think I got linked here from joecartoon, since that's the site i was hanging out back in ye olde days of 56k modem.

What do you most enjoy about the site?

right now, it's probably the versatility movies, games, music and artwork brings. Some parts could be better, and hopefully it will get there. All elements add up to games and movies being more and more kickass as time keeps running.

I'd give the audio portal a fullblown redesign. mainly to make it more like the other portals of the site, andbut also to incorporate audio more in the rest of the site - f.ex. user get to pick artworksoundtrack if wanted. things like that, use what's already available and enhance the site with it.

Apart from audio, I never was very fond of the art-portal main page, i'd make some changes there, like adding a weekly top five, best of all time etcetc.

Is there anything you miss, that you'd like to see back? (I.E. Old Blam/Save Animations)

mainly small features that got lost in the redesign, like a "whistle" for audio.

i think NG should sue PETA just for the hell of it.

if there's a real problem with the art-portal, you should adress the issue wo one of the admins instead. f.ex. rob, who've been working with the artportal alot.

though i can't speak for Dan and the behemoth, i'm pretty certain that the music that they feel is good for the game, will be bought/signed/whatever for the game, with a contract and all that stuff to get the rights to use the music in the game. so yeah, it's a commercial project, just like alien hominid and castle crashers.
