I believe in both, but I won't put my full wait behind either. Science is necessary for humanity's growth, but trusting every scientific advancement can be dangerous. Religion can give people a sense of hope and comfort them in death. When people read every piece of scripture literally, though, it can lead to extremists cults and belief structures that do more harm than good.
While I do have more faith in science than religion, I do question how somethings have happened. Where all of this matter came from and why? Science will probably never have an answer for that.
When it comes down to the individual, it's there decision to make. What worries me are the people who believe too much in one or the other. Both atheists and religious nuts can be cool people, but they can be far too unwilling to listen to opposing opinions. While there is no "right" belief, I think there is a good one and that is to believe in what makes sense to you and remaining open minded to what other people believe in.
The first episode was really funny, but the second was lacking. I'm gonna try and watch the remainder of the season, but I'm not sure if they'll be able to keep it funny.
I think both the kid and school overreacted. The school shouldn't have used such a harsh penalty, and the kid shouldn't have sued. He was being stupid and should've expected to be punished for it.
I wanna die in a really epic way. Like falling from a plane and landing onto a Hummer, crushing it and its occupants. Or crashing my car into a train, which derails it and then explodes killing everyone in a half mile radius. Something cool like that.
I don't think it's addicting in the way that smoking is addicting, but I think it is addicting in the way that playing video games are addicting. When people find an escape from reality they really enjoy, then they'll keep going back to it over and over again. I actually have a good friend who started smoking pot and from what I hear he's doing a lot of shit now. Pot really is a gateway drug. Think of it this way. You play a game like Halo 2 and you really like it, but then someone tells you, "Have you played Half Life 2? It's like this, but a lot more fun!" You try out Half Life and then you realize you fucking love Half Life and then Halo doesn't really have the same kick as it used to. I think that's what people mean by pot being a gateway drug. No, after trying pot once you won't go out and do LSD, but if someone offers it to you saying its way better than pot, then you might try it.
You should just delete IE and tell her to suck it up. Or you could just tell her to fuck off. Either way works, really.

Israel needs to get their shit together. If there's a small suicide attack against them, they send a helicopter to Palestinian areas and blow an even larger amount of shit up. That's not going to stop attacks, that'll just increase them. Suicide bombers don't do it just because, it's symbolic. This person is saying that he has so little to live for that he'd kill himself to show how lousy life is for him and the rest of his people. The only way this shit is ever going to stop, at least with the Palestinians, is to give Jew's and Muslim's equal power of the same territory and call it something neither would bitch each other out about.
