here where you can find it: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/51 2814

A bit odd here and there but I liked the clock puzzle :) .

I had played them. They are easy to solve but the experience seeing odd stuffs and object-finding parts are fun.

Hello zer!

If you plan to use vector art for your game, I think you don't need a tablet. Mouse seems to be more comfortable to vector artists.

vector = the type of computer art that usually used in flash games, one of reason is since it came with flash drawing tools and can be zoomed in or out without making the graphic goes akward.

If anyone need help on making escape game, feel free to poke me. :)

Anyway, your artwork in it is great-I'm a huge fan of Gray-scale so this game was exactly what I was looking for. Hey, would you mind teaching me the actionscript formula base for creating a point and click game? I've been wondering about it for over a year, but I haven't touched it due to its complicity and lack of experience with variables.

Well yeah, I feel the second ending is awkward...

Actually I got tutorial here but it might be hard to understand. A week or later, I might release a part of Black Box code to support the tutorial.

Thank you for the reference Supra! I'm glad you like the game!

To answer your curiosity, it doesn't have a second ending. I planned to make one but I figure out I already have no will to lengthen the game even that I already make the second ending images and short storyline. It also feels crap, because in second ending, you kill/ defeat all the creatures, the black box dissapear, you escape, and the black box preying at you.

Here I include the second ending image that I never add to the game.

fatkid: thank you very much. I will contact you later about puzzle, since me and my sponsor planned to make a competition around it ;) .

Making a point and click game isn't hard, except if you want to go more than just finding objects, unlocking doors, entering password... go take a look around the example swf I put on foundation-flash.com , if you think all those codes are enough, why not? ;)

hehe, I had play fogfall2, it seems to be easier than most pastel games, but have more heavy storyline =) . Waiting for next ones..

THANKS A LOT FOR TEH POST!

Hi fatkid, if you would make an escape room game, you could ask my help. though I only know AS3.0 not the popular AS2.0. Although I know where you can learn a few basic things for AS2 escape games.
escape room tutorial for AS2.0:
http://www.flashclassroom.com/cms/flashc lassroom/index.php?vsite=1&Area=327&SubS ectionOf=265
escape room tutorial for AS3.0:
http://www.foundation-flash.com/tutorial s/pointandclick/

Just email me at arutema@gmail.com for real-time respond (I only check this thread like once a day, maybe less later on)and I would see if I could help.

Hi there!

Remember me? Well, I'm sorry I have been missing but.. I'm missing for a good thing:
I make a point and click game!

Well, we could call it cave-escape instead room-escape for this one. ;)

A dragon hatchling named Rune has just hatched, but something is wrong - mother is nowhere in sight! Explore the vast cavern, discover odd creatures and objects, and decide Rune's destiny!

regards,
rose

A computer graphic version of photograph: billiard bar. No photo manipulation at all, the photo only used as reference. It took around 5 hours.

A bit larger version.

Intended to be first scene on my point and click flash game. I'm still need to learn around (AS3) before starting the project.

What I love from point and click games are the artworks and/or storyline. Unfortunately not much have those qualities. Know some?
