I wanna invest some hard earned money in entertainment while traveling. (mainly train, plane an bus).

These are the options:
A notebook, something with a good integrated GPU that allow me to game a bit.
A netbook, it would be kinda useless, but the new ones come with an APU so shouldn't be that bad anymore.
A smartphone, i have no idea about these things.
A tablet..i don't like touch-only devices but i could get used.
A PS vita? or an old psp?
A N3DS? or a DSI?

I have no clue, what do guys recommend?

Well, I've got a 3DS, a PS Vita, and a dumb smartphone, and had a PSP and DSi, and the PS Vita is the best portable I've ever had :3
Plus, you can put videos on there to watch, but I suggest a laptoppy type thing, so you can use the other features that could be useful. Unless you don't want the other features, just get a Vita. ^-^ (But beware of the memory card costs D: ) Although an old DS or GBA SP would be good, the games are cheap and it's easy to find out what the good ones are, though it could get annoying having to change them a lot during the journey, if you have a short attention span, like me... ^-^;

Having been a massive nerd at the age of around 7 (My cognitive function has somewhat degraded since then...), I was reading NewScientist in the supermarket, and it had a study on the ages that kids find out about Santa not being real. I didn't really care that much, I just liked getting extra presents, so I lied for the next 3 years. (^-^;)

Ah yes, Lumines! That's cheap too, so that's almost a definite. I recommend you get it if you still have your PSP, it is very addicting. Eh, I've tried Assassin's Creed before, I just couldn't get into it... (^-^;)

Vita games are region free, and if you don't want to import for some bizarre reason, Grainger Games is already selling it, as are loads of marketplace stores on Amazon.

And I've looked through the PSN store on my computer, and except for some PSP games Stranger's Wrath and JSR are some of the only ones I want, but at least I won't fill up my memory card straight away.

Elf, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Home Alone are mine. I think I remember seeing The Santa Clause, and that was quite good too. ^-^
