I am new to this website. I have a few questions regarding software. Here is my situation.
I own Adobe flash CS6 and CS4. I have been animating with them for a few months. I have a good grasp in animation. I like to do frame by frame animation and I am coming up with a youtube series soon.
But then I saw a toon boom ad. I clicked on it and saw toon boom software. I did a little research and thought "hey toon boom animate (not animate pro) looks cool!" So I tried out the software and its pretty cool. Just a bit confusing. I looked at the price and then that's when I started doubting a little bit. It's $700.
My problem is, the money I have now is going towards a wacom cintiq 13HD next month. I have a little intuos pro tablet, and want to upgrade to that. But then I am wondering if I should bag the tablet and put my money towards toon boom animate, or stick with flash and get a better drawing tablet.
Basically what I am asking here is, Should I stick with flash since I already know it, or go for toon boom and I don't purchase a better tablet.
Thank you.
