3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsFirst place is well deserved; it's my favorite game out of all the entries I played. I wish I hadn't rushed my entry to make it in time for Robot Day, but I won't be making that mistake for the next game jam. I also hope the duration for the next game jam isn't so long, maybe just a month as opposed to three months.

How convenient. What does that change? Nothing.

i am still trying to figure out that darn edge detection, i feel like its one of the last thigns that hinder me from making a full game.
I think there is an Edge Detection behavior on StencylForge but I haven't tried it myself. You could make a couple sensors that follow the actor on ground level that check for tile collisions.

There is no such rule. You can enter any game made in Stencyl.
Sorry, that's api.stencyl.com (I guess we can't edit posts).
I'm definitely making an entry for this and currently am working with another Stencyler artist/designer. There's nothing to show yet, but we're planning on making a platformer for Robot Day.
To those unfamiliar with Stencyl, be sure to check out the help page, including the video tutorials on Stencyl TV. Programmers may be interested in the API found at stencyl.api.com.
