No problem.

The way I see it, NewGrounds has landed me a lot of really great opportunities. A huge website of my own, animation deals with companies, pretty much my entire career. It all started here at this site with Joe Zombie.

If anything, I'm the one who owes Tom.

AquaSlug was awesome. I played it all the way through right after I released Joe Zombie, because I was scared that you were going to steal my Daily Feature spot and I wanted to see what I was up against. Fantastic game!

This is Ionblaster on another account, and here's why:

After the supposed "David" sent me the song from Ionblaster, I posted on my site a thread about how utterly horrible the song was. I made a detailed break down of the song. I explicitly talked about why it sucked, described in detail what parts made me want to stab my ears out, etc.

And the amazing thing is, when Ionblaster read my attacks on the song (which he now, after months and months, claims for the first time was an imposter), he did something remarkable. He DEFENDED himself, and his song!

What I'd like to know is, why didn't you speak up then? Why did you continue with the "it was unedited!" excuse right up until we laughed you off the forum, and wait for months before deciding that you hadn't sent the song? Didn't something click in your head when you read everyone's comments and tell you that they couldn't possibly be describing Dark Night?

Also, explain to me why I recieved the imposter's email, and not yours? If your story is true, I should've recieved two emails, one from you and one from the imposter.

Everything adds up. Put it all together and it spells bullshit. Nice try. Please just give up on trying to win back your credibility.

I did, because somebody posted about it over at SS. I came here and found out Ion was spreading crap about SS, so I felt obligated on behalf of my normal members to straighten things out.

Glad to entertain you guys at the same time.

Response to: The people from Sticksuicide suck Posted October 11th, 2003 in General

There you go again. I didn't make this thread, bud. I got dragged into it. Plus I don't know this dipshits email address. Now don't come back in this thread if it bothers you that much.

Ion, you're still dodging the point. Why did you wait to show us the music, if you're so proud of it? Are you trying to make my forum look mean and uncaring, so that you can come over to NG and everyone will suck your dick in sympathy?

That's sure as hell what it seems like. God, I don't even know why I care about this anymore.

Just give me some answers. Now.

Response to: The people from Sticksuicide suck Posted October 11th, 2003 in General

Nobody really made you reply, or even open this thread. You realize that, right?

Response to: The people from Sticksuicide suck Posted October 11th, 2003 in General

You didn't answer my second post. Did you make the song or not?

I was kidding about the CD. I don't want to be on your stupid CD if this is how you treat my website.

Response to: The people from Sticksuicide suck Posted October 11th, 2003 in General

And another thing.

If you did indeed create those songs by yourself, I can only assume that you're putting on this show to make StickSuicide look bad.

If so, fuck you. I hope you never come back to my forum again. I once respected you. And your music has nothing to do with that respect.

Response to: The people from Sticksuicide suck Posted October 11th, 2003 in General

Ion:
You sent me a horribly mixed song made up of three horribly recorded parts that weren't even yours. A five year-old with access to Microsoft Sound Recorder could've made that song. I first posted a thread about it in a mocking manner, since it is arguably the worst song ever created, whether by you or not. People heard it and started thinking very poorly of you, so we started asking you to send us your real stuff, proving your skill. You refused for months, finally reaching the point where you broke down practically in tears, posting a thread that you had just deleted all of your music and animations, essentially giving up your "career", out of frustration with us.

THEN, AFTER YOU LEFT THE FORUM, you started releasing professional grade recordings here at NG, while at any point along the way you could've sent one of them to us at the click of a button. I'm not saying that either you made the songs yourself, or got them from somewhere else, but your actions imply that you wish us to believe the latter.

I'll leave it at that. And if you're as famous as you say you are, then by all means put StickSuicide on your album cover. It'll be good for our traffic.

Tom... Wade... whomever it concerns...

I released my new movie and the day refreshed with it at 3.51. However, it didn't go to the #2 spot as would be expected.

Joe Zombie Series

Thanks for the feedback.

Flash as a Motion Capture Device? Posted May 28th, 2003 in General

I was working like mad on a Joe Zombie Episode 5 fight sequence when I had a revelation. I quickly grabbed my webcam, filmed myself acting out the sequence, imported it into Flash, and traced the action out. I use the term "quickly" loosely here, because the whole process took about 8 hours.

Here's a composite of what exactly I did:
JZ5 Shot Development

You may find it interesting. Its my first real experiment in true human life-like motion. I plan to use this technique extensively in the numerous fight sequences of JZ5, and I hope to get the animation out no later than June.

Actually no the goverment does control what's run over the channels. For example during 9/11 everything had to be checked with the military before it was broadcasted, because terrorists could have been watching the channel.

Son, that's called the Clear and Present Danger test. It's one of the only Govt regulations on freedom of press/freedom of speech. After a time like 9/11, you sort of need to make sure the news isn't revealling secret military strategies and rumors. They did it in World War II as well.

And also, when was the last time a television news network has broadcasted that remotely questioned Bush's intentions? NEVER. He's probably sue them for defamation or something.

News stations, though largely left-wing in nature, generally try to be unbiased, in order to maximize their viewings. If a news anchor questioned Bush's intentions, he'd lose half his audience.

Glad I could clear things up.
