I know that most of you want to be a professional musician and want to be remembered for your unique sound... but "what's that sound" you may ask? I'm not the one to ask, it's your choice... I mean, there is no right or wrong way of playing but there is a certain 'category' that everybody must fit under... rock, rap, country, WHATEVER! All I'm saying is that you should find a sound that best suits you and go along with it...
Now to the point... I'm into Progressive Rock like Rush, Queen, Yes, etc... And I'm thinking of starting aband (when I'm older) that will be different that from any other artist... I want to be a band that will be the 'pioneers' of new (and not so new) genres like "Progressive/Rap", "Rock/Rap", "Progressive/Rock", etc...
Now I ask you, what genre(s) would you like to create?

Original means it hasn't been done before (or not that often) and you're saying "throw ever cliché you can into a song"... a cliché, of course, is something that has been overdone or overused... You're basically saying to put everything that has been done before into a type of song that hasn't been done before to make it original...

some things that make songs original are sometimes constant key changes, time signature changes, tempo changes, experimental lyrics and music, etc...

Audacity is a free program. It's very good, it comes with neat effects and is very easy to use.
I'm in need of specific sound effects for a new song I'm making, so if you have what I'm looking for, please give me the link to the audio file.
These are the sound effects I need:
Helicopter
Crying baby
Bomb (explosion)
I may need more sound effects so I'll keep you posted.

By request, I can make you an entire soundtrack for your flash game/movie. The soundtrack will be more Rock-oriented. What I can do is I can write intrumentals or songs with lyrics by demand. Rock songs I am able to create by your request:
-ballads (downtempo)
-happy songs (uptempo)
-angry songs (downtempo or uptempo)
-intrumentals
-vocal only (accapella)
-etc...
If you agree to this, I will need to see the script to the movie you are creating so I can get musical and lyrical ideas. Also, if you agree, I wish the songs to be used properly. Thank you.
