But that's exactly it. Everyone has their own shitty infection map, but nobody has their own shitty Slayer map. Wouldn't that be amazing, to try something completely different for a change? To play Slayer - imagine that, Slayer! - on somebody's custom made custom map?

No one wants to though, because if they wanted to play Slayer, they would just go to MM. You hardly ever see Infection in MM, so it's natural for people to want to play something else. Plus, I can't really think of much you can do with a slayer map.

We get enough of killing enemies in Matchmaking, so I'd assume that people wouldn't want to do the same thing when they could be experimenting with the new infection options. Infection is really what brought out Halo 3, because people got really creative with the maps. Sure, there are plenty of shit maps, but through those there are some really amazing ones too.

And now the Legendary Map pack is 160, and the mythic is 400. I think Mythic II is still 800, but that means you can get all the maps for under 20 dollars. I can see bitching about MW2s map packs but seriously.

I've been 2 week banned for quitting and teamkilling excessively, but I think a permaban comes from host booting, standbying, or bridging. Bridging just gets you banned from being a host ever again, other than those, you'd have to be a modder.

IW fell apart, and they're a really lazy company when it comes to glitches. Bungie is pretty dedicated about patching any and every glitch as soon as possible while IW is under the impression that the glitches aren't too severe (I mean, the cold blooded pro glitch hasn't been patched yet, has it?). About the leaderboard issue: they probably won't do it, because check out the CoD4 ones. Those aren't recently modded, or even modded via Jtag.

Nearly all the issues with the game could have been fixed if they had a beta first. Including balancing and etc.

You get a save when you vote 3 or higher on a submission that passes and isn't blammed. You get a blam when you vote 2 or lower and the submission gets blammed.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I had a thread about it, but it was the game title so it kinda got put off. Basically, its the top-down view of the older GTA games with simple controls and some extremely fun and addicting gameplay. The trial is like, 20 mb so just try it for yourself.

That's being overrated. It happens all the time. Many people won't admit Halo doesn't have it's flaws, and CoD, among others. They believe it's perfect because it's a trend. Regardless of their opinion, someone has a differing one. Too much respect equals over rating it.

I really liked ODST's first trailer. Then the live action one was pretty cool as well.

I fucking loved God Hand and that got like, a 4 from IGN. Reviewers can go fuck themselves, Demos and Rentals are where it's at.

Actually, I got mine through adding people in those threads. Every single person that begs gets a new friend to raise their spirits and crush them when they realize I'm not buying them a game. When I tell them that I just added them because I want people to play with, they usually get pissed and remove me. Someone asked me if I had CS:S, and I said no so he bought it for me. Nearly the same for Garry's Mod. One guy bought something for everyone on his friendlist and so on. It's random how I got them.

Looking forward to Deus Ex and hoping for a new Jet Set game. Everything about Halo Reach has been revealed. I'm not concerned about the rest of the armor abilities or anything. The rest will hopefully shock or delight me. I know most of the conferences are going to be batshit boring.
