Um...possibly because they don't offer clues into the period of time dating 4,000 b.c. - 100 a.d. perhaps? Anyway. History books aren't concerned with the why (the world history book I have in my room isn't exactly concerned about being "holy" or not). They don't teach things like love and charity and virtue...etc. etc.
Anyways, you seriously need to stop reading that mental garbage. Go grab a Hitchens or Dawkins book or something, they're heard all your arguments a trillion times and have answers to each and every last one of them.
I know - I watched a few of the youtube vids. They bring up a wealth of good points. Is there anything in particular you were thinking about?

To learn more...? People still do that, right? I was under the impression that most people didn't have a iron grasp on every ounce of knowledge these days. Could be wrong though.
