Just when ya thought u got rid of me-
I have a database full of information, but currently all titles in the database are in UPPER CASE (e.g. GRAND THEFT AUTO 3), but i have just finished a new design and really need to put the titles all into lower case (either at the DB end, or in the SQL that pulls the info from the DB). A friend said it would be something like "ucfirst(strtolower($string)", but im not sure if it works or where to put it!
I would really love to turn all my titles into lower case with a initial Upper Case Letter (e.g. Grand theft auto 3)
Im supposed to be uploading the new design sometime today, so if anyone knows- please reply asap!

Dude, for the past couple months or so whenever I come here you always want a script all made and ready for you to use. I've only been doing php hardcore now for almost 3 months and mysql for 2 months and for me a script like that isn't too diffucult to make! I spend a ton of time at php.net and mysql.com looking up the functions, learning what they do, and testing them to see how they work. I post in forums as a last resort when i've tried everything I can possibly think of. If you truly what to get this stuff down then it's gonna take some hard work or maybe you should just scrap trying to program and pay someone else to do it.
I was hoping to knuckle down and learn it ALL..but i have just started college and am learning stuff like Visual basic, C++..etc, so im trying to stick with VB code at one time and not gettin confused with PHP aswell..if ya see what i mean- plus i dont have the time, who does!

cmon people! if anyone knows of a good pre-made authentication for users..they register themself and have their password emailed to them..etc. must be scripted in PHP. cant find anything on hotscripts..none of them are suitable! so you want like a page to check if the user is in frames..break out of those frames and then direct to the next page? You could just break out of frames on the actual page itself without having any other pages re-directing to it..that way whoever links to THAT certain page wont be able to put frames around it.
