I normally despise drawing things I see as well (seeing as how those 3 were the FIRST serious attempts at doing just that).. >< But, it helps you develop a sense of structure/shadowing/colors and shit, I guess.

Guys, I drew a toucan. I used the best art program ever, it's called google image search, it's really great for making epic art that looks like someone elses but it's really yours because you made it by searching for something that looks artsy and cool and saving it onto your harddrive.

It's really great guys, I don't know if you're using it already, by the quality and effort of some of these awesome toucan images, I think you might be already, but just in case you guys didn't know about this wonderful art invention, here you go.

I'm going through the same thing. It's as if I know I should be drawing, and I know it's totally worth it, but I just don't have any fun doing it anymore... :< Meh.

But glad to see you're still managing to make yourself do it, and be productive about it.

So there are a bajillion and a million and a half things I should be doing right now with my art skills, but I really don't want to..

I've been wanting to draw out all these ideas. But, eh, I just lose interest and/or think the ideas I have in mind are either too complicated or too nonsensical.
