Not that hard of a concept to grasp.
unfortunately the way the world works today people would rather solve squabbles with bullets rather than words. nukes dont help either....

My first question is what do you think is the best method of dealing with this conflict and instability? And my second is, how effective would private military companies be in this type of situation? I mean we have all heard of the work they have done in the 90's in places like Sierra Leone, could the time be right to have a private force instead of one that relies on nations that (as the article seems to say) are unwilling to get involved with Somalia?
personally i think we should start a popular uprising against said orginizations which should help the UN with peacekeeping. on the theory of using PMCs (private military contractors) it wouldnt work if the insurgence is funded by al-queda then they could simply pay the PMCs more than the somali government can to have them slack off or worse work for them thus nullifying the effort, funding and manpower used to start this.

And having hitmen trying to taking out a family member because of custody rights of a kid only makes things worse for the stepmom.
this is very true because of the information given all the evidence clearly points to the stepmother but that could have been some kind of ploy by the real perpetrator to frame the stepmother but it is highly unlikely that it was that coordinated and thought out.

That's not the main question, but definitely relevant to it.
Now even though there are many, many different religions in this world why are the three above the only ones taken seriously. By that I mean they're the only ones that spark heated debate. Hinduism is a massive religion but it is one absent from nearly any level of discussion or debate. Is Hinduism somehow less likely or believable than the other three 'major' religions of our time?
Did you know that in Japan alone there are around 119 Million Shinto practitioners and about 45,000 practioners of Greek Paganism in Greece?
Are these people not to be taken seriously? Are they somehow less 'enlightened' or 'believable' than Christians and Jews?
I myself am Catholic so I'm not here to bash anyone but I am genuinely curious. Atheists and agnostics almost always attribute themselves entirely to the Christian faith. Is this entirely because of its prevelance in the west? Or because westerners simply find other beliefs 'too implausible'?
because two of the big three have always started shit throughout history and judaism has been hated against by many factions of Christianity and islam for hundreds of years. but personally i am Buddhist so this is merely my observation.
