Sounds like the original one to me. I would have thought it'd be public domain, hence my surprise at the copyright claim. Heh, funny to think I originally had one other song in that video that I took out to avoid these troubles yet I get it anyway.

Ha! I mixed up my overtures. But most likely the performer hold that right to his/her rendition of that song even though it's the same thing as the public domain version. Somebody had to play it, record it, put it on a CD so you could download it illegally. Who knows, Rossini might not be dead. :)

It's probably not the actual song that is copyrighted but the orchestra who did did the song that is. They can copyright their rendition of the 1812 Overture and sell it.

In order to fix that I would say you would have to format and reinstall WinXP. If you can get Win7 I would just go ahead and install that. Though it's very odd to have IE start with Opera. Yeah true. I thing most of those whistle whores are too aggressive about what they are flagging. I'm not sure if it's them not knowing the difference between a useless or abusive reviews or they choose not to care.

I loved college, I wish I was still there, but I can see how it can be tiring. I think it's more about personal choice than anything to whether anybody should or shouldn't go to college. You go to college to earn a skill and to apply that skill; some people don't need to and get off just fine.

I really enjoyed this movie when it first came out so much so I played it like ten times over. The randomness in the movie is a nice homage to The Avalanches' original music video and you must admit it's hard to animate something as random as this song. I think NickJS did a wonderful job in his creativity and animation of this movie and should be recognized for it.

It depends. If it is traced and is unoriginal then yes; however your best bet is to contact an Art Moderator and describe the situation to them and let them know beforehand.

I never particularly liked the MLS even though it has helped American soccer improve dramatically. It's really a bunch of wash-ups like Beckam trying to keep their career alive. Maybe if there were some more quality players I might watch more but it really doesn't hold my interest.
