I love how everyone has wet their pants and linked to a full song on NG or a demo that they quickly whipped up. Seriously folks.... calm down here, October 1st is a loooooooong time away, and i would advise everyone to take the time to be absolutely meticulous with mixing and mastering and making ur demo perfect.... or you wont get chosen. There is going to be heavy talent submitting, so step up your game and take more timing making your song.

I'll start a new thread for anyone who is interested.

Mine wasn't just novicane and laughing gas, I was actually unconscious because it was legit surgery. But after I woke up the anaesthetic didn't fully wear off for a few hours. And I have barely any memory of those hours but I was FUCKED UP. It was awesome.

Cha... same here... i had laughing gas for 10 minutes before the surgery... then i got put out with the IV and shit.... the doctor was wearing gansta clothing or something... or maybe i was hallucinating...funny shiz..... ya man, i wish i had on film what i was like after... did u get any pics or footage?

It felt odd, but it also made me gain superpowers, such as the ability to talk and bleed on people, while you talk.

Its a pretty nice superpower.

I cant use it anymore though since my wisdom teeth pulling occured around five months ago.

I've listened to songs and watched videos here that had amazing scores that really really sucked and that worries me a bit. Kind of like hearing how t-pain has a good voice or something.

I'm SO pizzed off! WTF is going on with the portal? Like freaking every song on the first page of each genre is getting 5 bombed! Like serious, and not even leaving reviews. Seriously... if you're going to just f-ing scriptbot a 5 bomb, you should get banned and booted. F-ing maliciously 5 bombing everysong is kinda missing the point. I bet they're not even listening to the songs. People should rate the song what its worth, not just slapping a 5 on there. WE NEED A NEW SYSTEM!!!

Likes - have paid admin watch and see who votes what for who and track IP's then, ban them, then fine them $100 (which should then be donated to the effected artists). We should also makes it so you can only vote 17 times on one song per month, and that you have to vote a different number everytime. Also, you have to listen to the whole song twice, review of more than 60 characters, and must have the word 'great' in their before you can vote on it. And we need to have the social security numbers of the banned, and we should sick the legions of 4chan anon scientology on them, and blow up vans, and have them send 9000 oprahs emails..... and cats.

I merely suggest that it's highly unlikely for this amount of success in such a harsh, (obviously) competitive environment, and while I doubt he is in any way manipulating the Top 5, I would like to remind all of you that we should view and respectively treat the Best of The Week not as a popularity game of 5's and 0's, but rather as a tool to examine quality material in the audio portal.

In other words: If you can't understand why massive zero bombs plague the audio portal, this week should provide a pretty clear explanation.
