(HAHA Ive Improved!) Sometimes you have to use basic shapes in persective in order to get what you want I may not have experience with drawing guns but I know its just a bunch of cylinders mashed together and can be drawn too just draw the details last! and if that doesn't do the trick zooming in can also help too to get details as well Its really helpful!

Needless to say.. that test .swf would certainly help.

I have a solution to you're problem!

-chorus of angels-
CLASSIC TWEEN ANIMATION!

draw each moving part of your guy (arm, hand, torso, head, cannon) as a separate movie clip, then distribute them to layers, (you should have a bout ten. then animate them tween by tween, drawing new MCs occasionally for foreshortening, and keeping track of rotation axises, check out my animation, Runner, for an example of how it looks when you do it right.

Well actually I wanted frame by frame animation but this is useful I guess.

thanks

The character seem rather stiff.. the smoke in the middle of the movie looks out of place.

favorite game difficulty? Posted April 12th, 2011 in Video Games

What kind of difficult games do you like? I myself like hard games like castlevania but it has to have a damn good story plot a character that looks powerful enough to rearrange that enemie's face and cool sound affects to make it sound like you hit something! but all of this isn't nesscesery for thats just me. I like darkwing duck on the nes too.

Response to: My art sucks a liitle bit Posted April 11th, 2011 in Art

I think this character is from something.. If not I must be that good!

The mouth you drew on the sonic rendering in your art section doesn't really look like you drew it, just copied and pasted it.
The character you posted here also looks referenced, though I couldn't tell from who or which manga/game. His pose looks surprisingly advanced despite your shaky pencil and there are parts that feel anatomically well-placed but deformed, as if they were copied by reference. I mean parts like the left bicep, the facial expression, etc.
It's alright to copy someone else's art, as long as you mention what it is you copied and don't claim that it was a bizarre and unintentional coincidence and that "there was no refrence. YOU DID THIS YOUR SELF LIKE EVRYTHING ELES ON THIS THREAD."
Or something.

Yes that is quite the curse that I have. *sigh* but basically I want to do is mimic the lines of my reference (NOT TRACING!)*ahem* but unforutunately that's gotten out of hand to the point I kept drawing the same thing! every night I cry in the middle of the night wishing I could draw a different line.(Yes it matters that much to me!) because line quality makes up everything (*besides colors and other rubish!*) also I think that this character is related to based on personally so I have to put in this line because of the character on tv (DONT JUDGE ME!) So yeah heres one of my drawings don't have a name for him Ill just call him mr.monkey feel free to name him anything you like so go ahead and critisize..

I have a question. Do pros pre draw skeletal modelis before they actually draw some character?
Ps: Is it okay if I send my art to show what I learned?

Response to: Happy balloon game Posted April 10th, 2011 in Game Development

Well actually I don't want people to code anything for me. I just want people to make pointers and for some people to help me for this game. (It would be rather akward if I just popped the question of making a game for myself would'nt it?)

Ps: Plus I will be still going to the other forum for help too!
