I don't know. You guys are all pessimists. I think it was quite successful:

The war successfully turned attention away from the ailing economy
The war successfully destroyed the close relations we had with many other countries, and all of the goodwill that came after Sept. 11th
The war successfully raised Bush's approval ratings (although they are beginning to fall.. Iran anyone?)

oh, there were plenty of successes in Iraq. Remember when we successfully pulled down statues of Hussein?

I dunno, but I have major problems with foriegn languages too. I took French my entire HS career, it was always my worst class.

This semester in college I tried Spanish, bleh. Sure, it's pretty easy, but..

I'm going to start German next year. (I have a ridicilous language requirement)

The main problem for me is a lack of interest. I never study - for any of my classes actually, but - for a language i really should. I put forth no effot. Thus I fall behind, growing more and more apathetic. I hope to start afresh with German and actually try this time..

So to me, this site can be totally discredited. Where do they get the notion that Bin Laden was ever 'recruited' by the CIA, that we was ever on the payroll? What is this?
