Goethe felt a natural instinct to defent the cat, but realized he did not yet know any details of the situation. Not wanting to give away his position, Goethe continues to watch the strangers intently before he decides what to do. He readies his longbow.

Unfortunately, I could never get it to work when I had it a while ago. I figure I probably could now, but I can't be bothered to go through that whole process over again. Besides, I've been playing Neverwinter Nights. Basically the same sort of game, made by the same people.

I have a girlfriend who I love very much, but I don't like Valentine's Day either. It's just a corporate holiday developed for the sole purpose of making money. I won't go off ranting, suffice to say I don't agree with the theory behind Valentine's Day.

Well, the game has only just started so it wouldn't be a huge loss if you started over. I have no preference really, it's up to you. I'm facing the same dilemma with Pure's character in my game. Don't know whether to scrap him, or make him an NPC.

It's a shame I don't have the proper hardware/software to record music for you, then I could really help. However, if you are aiming at a fantasy RPG, I would suggest you just search classical/ambient music in whatever kind of P2P program you may have. That stuff always does the job well.

Response to: Rome Total War Club Posted February 1st, 2005 in Clubs & Crews

I recently started playing Rome: Total War. Good game. One thing I particularly like is the music. I'm talking about the music while on the world map, with the woman singing softly in the background. I love that, I'm just not sure what to call the genre. I'd say it's sort of classical, with less symphony, more guitar, and more vocals. Any help? If you're curious, you can open 'Music.dat' in the data folder in your RTW directory and go to about 51:30 (if it's the same for everyone).

Just got off a huge gaming binge with two buddies that lasted all day yesterday, last night, and most of today. Pure will recall me suspecting I was nearly done TOS, but hadn't played it in a long time. Well, we put another 15 or so hours in to it, and finally finished it. The end result has left me with one question: What is the name of the fucking tree? So after all that, and a combination of bailey's, chips, and salsa... I feel like total shit. Great, just in time. Starting tomorrow, I have to help teach a phys ed course for two weeks. Ugh...

At 1/23/05 06:29 PM, psykolord wrote: Which reminds me, whose turn is it to do the member list?

It's CHEESEGOD's. Regarding his post in the PF, I personally don't care how he does the list. Maybe it's just because in my current state, the task of the Member's List seems excruciatingly cumbersome right now. Although, it was a very inactive week. Maybe a page or two to count.

Pretty much. His attacks do insane damage, and he has almost 3 times as much HP as Kratos. I can't imagine someone at that point in the game being able to beat him.

11:30.

:The last one I saw was the one with the "seamen" and the whole "simpsons already did that" thing with butters.

Yeah, I've seen that one. The one last night was pretty funny. Where Bebe develops boobs and all the guys start acting like cavemen around here. Pretty hilarious.

I'm doing the part where you have to fight Kratos right now (I've been weary to do it because the first time I went through it just for fun and quit because it was looking pretty hopeless)

You don't have to win that fight. The first time I fought him I lost, but the story still progresses. Then I figured I'd reload and see if I could beat him for the hell of it, and I did. Good luck beating the guy after him, though.

So basically what I'm asking is, when I go over to the other world/dimension, who joins my party first?

Shit, it's either Sheena, or Zelos. Can't remember which one comes first. I think Zelos comes first, then you meet Sheena again later. Or has Sheena left your party yet? Ugh, I'm all confused now. So many factors to remember.

Alright, you got me. The message implied in that quote was simply 'my cat jumped on the keyboard, resulting in the window being closed'. Now if we're done disecting every little detail in the wording of my post, we can move on to things that matter. Like my own favourite South Park character being in tonight's episode. On the contrary, the story has remained the same. I simply opted to leave the part about my own absent-midedness out in the first version. In all honesty, I have never used a word processor to write my posts first. Perhaps this is a sign it's time to start?

What browser are you using? Is it firefox? Maybe it's something in the settings, but it really just closes for me. Anyway, the cat didn't actually close it himself. He pressed something that caused about 6 'MSN Help' windows to come up. I closed all of them without noticing the back button was lit up in the last one. Hence, I closed the window that previously had the story. But it was still the cat's fault :-P.

I'm afraid not. The window closes immediately after you press alt+F4, no warning included.

I hate to put other people's positions in jeopardy, but I too have taken interest in this game of your's, Random. A background story will have to wait a little while, however.
