I have not owned or played a portable system in over 10 years, but I'd say go with Final Fantasy VI. My first Final Fantasy back when it was FFIII on the SNES and still one of my favorites.

Your sig wins.

As I was saying, the client can be downloaded here, then you have only to open your hosts file (located at C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc) in any text editor and add the line: 24.78.215.183 L2authd.lineage2.com at the bottom. Make sure it gets saved as the same format and don't accidentally make a new one as a text file. Then you're ready to join in on the fun!

I'm not sure what kind of rules are still followed around here, but as far as I'm concerned talk about RPGs and follow the NG rules and you're in.

I believe he also went by ManweSulimo or something like that at one point as well, but it doesn't really matter.

Ever played a PC game called Age of Empires III? Welcome to my nightmare. That game has caused me to lose more sleep than all my years in the military (well, maybe not but it sure feels like it). I averaged around 2 to 3 hours of sack time per night last week. The good news is the novelty seems to be wearing off so this shallow state of non-ordinary reality should be gone soon. >_<

Played AoE 2 but not 3, I don't meet the requirements. I remember reading about it some time ago though, and it did sound pretty good. Graphics were a huge improvement, also. I know what you mean though, Lineage 2 was a huge time sink for me for quite some time.

My own server. Can't really give you a link because I don't have a site up yet, but all you need to do is download and install the Chronicle 5 client and make a little change to your hosts file. All I really have right now is an irc channel: #MobL2 on irc.deltaanime.net.

Nah, have you forgotten who Pure_Greatness was? My rl friend who used to hang around here and in the Wi/Ht? forums. He's been pretty inactive for some time now as well, though he's kept more up to date on the site and browsed the forums from time to time, unlike me. The sig was made long ago while both of us were still active. I should probably update some of my shiz if I plan to hang around here any, but at least for the moment I can't be bothered. In case you didn't know, I'm not american ;). Canada is also large, though less populated and not filthy rich. As for the game, as I said most info you'll find is probably outdated, and you need to keep in mind that my particular server has characteristics of it's own. I'm still writing up my guide, but I really wish I had a site to put it on. Hoping to see some more of the veterans around here. Oh, and trust me, the game has kept me interested for 3 years, it's really very fun if played with enough of the right people.

On a completely unrelated note, my nick lost it's underscores T_T.

What is with nearly all the european people I know having some kind of mandatory military service. Wars are so 20th century, guys, let's move on ^_^. Anyway, I was talking about a Lineage 2 emulated server. I've had nearly 3 years of experience with it now and if anyone is curious I am currently writing an updated guide (info on almost all sites is outdated). This is emulated software and therefore perfectly legal, so no worries.

Oh, and anyone decent with creating web sites would be helpful.

Response to: RPG club Posted March 15th, 2007 in Clubs & Crews

Hard to believe this is still around. Even more surprising that some of the same people are still around. If any of you are interested in having some fun in an online Action/RPG I run let me know. You don't need a super computer, though your specs should be somewhat decent.

If you haven't already played Tales Of Symphonia, do so. Best RPG I played on GC. Don't know much more than that, since I really haven't played any consoles in about 10 months or so. The PC has been extremely lacking in good RPGs, unless you're like me and enjoy MMORPGs. They have occupied my free time for the last 8 months or so. Lineage 2 ftw.

As for myself, I've been spending a lot of time on Lineage 2, Guild Wars, and World Of Warcraft.

So ... why'd you even quiet down iin the first place, and will you be able to deposit everyday, i could help you with that in case you can't :)

Well, I became uninterested in stats and points, and the forum over time became more focused on them. Before I knew it, every post in this thread was either about a stat landmark, or to congratulate someone on their own. Then there were like 5 (or something crazy like that) different threads made all focused on a different kind of stat. So, there just wasn't really anything left for me here. But as I said, anytime I see a topic that hasn't been answered yet, I'll offer a helping hand.

Haha, are you kidding, Recon? I live in Winnipeg. I grew up in a tiny town even colder than Winnipeg. I've had frostbite more times than I'd care to recollect, save that they were all pretty shitty experiences. Having a face that looks like one big bruise isn't fun -.-.

If non-NG stats are in the criteria now, I have an interesting one for you. I've been in 3 life threatening situations in the past month. Well, 2, the second one was really just a large inconvenience, not really life threatening.

First, I got hit by a car. I was not at fault, I was simply walking across the street when some guy decided to come from behind a bus and speed through a red light. I jumped before he hit me, broke through his windshield, then rolled off his hood and onto the pavement. A few cuts and bruises, but really not bad. Could have been much worse.

Secondly, I was out hacking in the sun too long and got sun stroke. Don't know why, but my body is messed like that and I always get it every year. Like I said, not life threatening, but still quite a pain in the ass.

Finally, while coming home from one of my classes, I was jumped by two guys. I had been sparring for like 45 minutes straight in my class, so my body was already pretty taxed. Luckily, I still had it in me to pull off some of my better moves (lol) and get away with no more than a cut and a few bruises. This one was pretty ugly. I broke the first guy's nose. Then the second guy got angry, pulled a knife, and managed to slice me through my jacket. Then I managed to break his arm and jaw, and took off. Luckily I caught a bus when I got to the street, but they were still on the ground when they left my sight.

Yep, at this point I'd almost entertain the thought that some higher power wants me dead. Yet, I still seem to have a little luck on my hands. My backpack took most of the abuse of going through the windshield, and my jacket proved to be quite difficult to cut through. It seems more likely this higher power is just fucking with me. Kinda like that one friend who would always push you and then grab you whenever you stood on the edge of a stair, or other.

Now to stay on topic, uh...I deposited yesterday for the first time in a long time. Go 10 experience points...
