Actually I'm more of an agnostic, and if you can prove it, I'll believe it. I'm not really on the "God is fake" side, but I'm on the "keep it to yourself side.
I did not create this thread to talk about religion. This thread was based on my mom.

And to answer a question, yes, most of my family is like that. I went to my aunt's house and I couldn't eat dinner until I said a bible verse.
My dad is more of a "Say you are atheist again and you won't have a computer" type of person.

For me, I wouldn't say "God isn't real."
I'm more of a "I don't believe God is real."

It's kinda hard for me to say I hate stereotypes when my mom makes me want to hate christians.
My Dad is the same way, but to him if I tell him I'm not christian, he tells me that "If I keep talking stupid then I won't be able to use the computer anymore."

Well she took my music and I can't play any guitar now because I told her that I'm an atheist (again).
She got pissed and started yelling because when I was like 7 or so, I "accepted jesus." So basically she kept saying "You can't just 'out think' God," And other stuff like that.

Well she decided to negotiate.

I can only get my music and guitar back if I write a 3 page report on Salvation ONLY using examples from the bible and the dictionary.

And she wonders why I didn't choose to be like her.

Just asked my mom if i can listen to christian rock/metal, since i dont listen to music for religous views.
She said if its rock/metal, then no.

i tried. Thats what got them to think i was corrupted and shouldn't have a computer.

Well my mom, the christian bigot of them all, struck again.
Well now I can't listen to or play any form of Rock or Metal, because apparently, it's evil. She says its making me an angry person, I told her she is making me an angry person. Well that didn't solve anything, but by venting I basically made it worse.
Once I told my parents that I was agnostic. They said the internet and other people are corrupting me. My dad actually threatened to take my computer away for "talking stupid."
