Whats up Disney Collabers-
so heres the situation

I think arkhe has died. haha....so here is what i am in need of. I now need someone who is willing to Make a VERY NICE menu screen with options (scene select, the ability to skip thru parts in the movie ect...) and essential compile the collab

i would do this myself but i am shit when it comes to files and programming and all that kind of shit.

Obviously, taking on this job would be a guaranteed co-author spot, and you will also be able to submit the collab in ur name if u wish (With my listed as collab organizer still as well)

So its a big job BUT i am opening it up to anyone who is in the collab already or anyone who reads this and thinks they can handle it. KEEP IN MIND. i want a very nicely made menu with smoothly functioning features....im sure theres plenty of ya who can do that!....i hope

i have a really cool idea for a game, i wonder tho, assuming i had a good programmer and musician on board, is doing art for a game easier than making a flash movie?

i would think it would be because you only have to animate the character once kindof...and then a shit load of backgrounds...and some bad dudes (all with variable stances)

idk i could be wrong but i would love to hear from someone who has experience creating game art! cuz at somepoint i would really like to put the game into production!!!

hey mate, im running into a problem with my animation...it kind of centers around one camera shot...so i dont have enough variety to send two pictures for the intro...

is it cool if i just have one? or would u prefer that i draw up a secondary one?

o wait.....when i play the swf file the credits music wont synce....and the movie clip in my menu screen is all fucked up...

@ doctormario- i tried what u said in ur pm...but the trouble is...im having a hard time combining it with a movie clip which is also looping....

and then im having a harder time getting all that together with a play button haha.....

should the music be inside the movie clip or should it be outside of that on the main layer?

hello fellow newgrounders! so i just finished my project that ive spent about two months on, and now i am on to making the menu...but i can not figure this problem out.

can anyone explain to me (very simply, cuz im not good with action script or any of that programming stuff) how i can have a song looping in my menu screen while the viewer is waiting to click play?

hey that looks really good so far! i will have to see it when u animate it tho, really take ur time with lipsyncing and arm movements and such....

i dont think there will be a lot of progress posted in this thread cuz i asked people kinda to not do that. this way our works stay pretty unknown, and its more of a unveiling when the collab is released!

keep up the good work tho! we dont have anyone doing hunch back i dont think!

anyone else who is signed on to the project, it is getting close to crunch time...the month of august! i would love to stick to that deadline! so hopefully we can!

haha.....errr...thats not very good.not to be an ass....... i hope people in this collab are taking the opportunity of skateboarding and doing cooll stuff with it,such as taking on some cool fbf shots and not just doing everything from a side view.....sigh...o well.

haha 2 minutes?i would say that is probly too long. We want to keep the parts about 50 seconds and under.i would MUCH prefer u to do a smaller part that you would end up finishing, than a giant part that would probably not get finished....so take that into consideration (especially with the file size) but i definitely hope you still do a part tho!

hey guys....i really just want to stress keeping the file sizes down on these things, the smaller they are they easier it iwll be to compile. so keep that in mind as your production takes place!

ooook soo....u want us to send the character for the select sceen and the author bio page just in like one frame in a fla. file? or what format do u want them in?

also....does it really matter what size they are? cant u just resize it when it gets put in? if not, nbd...jw tho.

one more thing....do we make the whole author bio page? (like u did) in just black and white? or do we just make the drawing of ourselves and u add the info and such.?
