Indeed. I think this image is awesome, but before you add the flames, I'd suggest toying with a darker background. Just dark enough to see the detail, or complete black and a shred of light reflecting off the scythe and such to make them visible through the black.

I updated the pic. I have yet to add flames and smoke to it again. But I did change the scythe and I hope the changes make it look better.

Oh, alright. I'll redo the scythe so it looks more like a scythe (probably add some metallic texture and a bit of shine). I also wanted it so it resembles a bird's head & beak so I'll look at some reference pics so I get a better idea what I'm going for. But wait, what do you mean the face looks bent up?

Thank you very much. When I drew him originally, I depicted him as anime character in my dA gallery. But then I saw the way Marvel & DC superheroes looked and wanted to see what he would look like in that format.

This is a drawing I did in Photoshop of original character of mine, Azrael for a comic idea I'm working on.
I still don't think it's finished and that maybe I still need to work on it. I was wondering if there is anything I needed to change on this piece and/or add like lighting and shadows or even a background, then let me know.

My own contribution: a sketch I did of Megaman colored in Photoshop.
