Response to: The Wall-to-Wall collab! Posted December 6th, 2006 in Game Development

He apologised for his bad English already, don't start taunting him, Turtle...

Sound like a fun idea...I'm in! (yay)

Two of ideas for your collabration though:
Another music. I heard the one you suggested and it is way too repeative and short.
Each person should have his/her own robot, thus making the movie more flexible and fun.

Response to: Naruto Collaboration 2006 Posted December 5th, 2006 in Game Development

Frame rate? Due date? Stage size?
We need to know these and much more. This right now is not a proper collabration.

RE: Need some help
I don't know what a BF2142 is but there is one thing:
Turn off every single program besides Flash and your media player and have that player play some fast-paced music to you. It works quite often on me.

Lousy timing mate, wait until more people are online.

Just a odd question: do we have to follow the same style in other threads too?

Response to: Flash, corruption? Posted December 3rd, 2006 in Game Development

Never mind, a reboot helped me remove it...

Flash, corruption? Posted December 3rd, 2006 in Game Development

I have a problem....From the top.
I work on a Flash and out of nowhere an error pops up! Since it isn't Flash related I just leave it as it is and work on. I press CTRL+S and suddenly Flash tells me that it was unable to save because of some reason. I close Flash and restart the program and...It tells me that a problem was detected and I need to reinstall it. Also a Runtime error pops up telling me that Flash has requested it to terminate it in a unusual way.
Here comes the fun part: When I try to remove Flash (via Add or Remove programs)anther error pops up: "Error 1711. An error occured while writing installation info onto disk."
Has anybody encoutered this before?

Response to: A little help please... Posted December 1st, 2006 in Game Development

At 12/1/06 10:15 AM, Lucas4560 wrote: nope.

Step-by-step
1) Draw the bullet
2) select it
3) Right-click and press "Convert to Symbol..."
4) Name it and select Movieclip or Graphic
5)Place it on its own layer
6) now make a new keyframe on the main timeline.
7) On that frame move the bullet towards the human
8) Right-click on the frames between the first on and the last one. Select "Create Motion Tween"

Yes, it does. I can't actually think of any tips since the concept of the flash is.....there isn't any. Just a stupid (plain) blue dot tweened round the stage.

There has already been a PW collab and you haven't set any rules. Frame rate? Stage size?

First of all, calm down, he was just having some fun.

Now the idea of a crew that will vote down movies is something NG really doesn't need...I agree, there are alot of crappy flashes, but each author deserves some recognition for his/her work. Some flashes may look crappy, but they might as well be the first steps of and elite flasher.
As for the spammers (Kitty Krew >:( )...You can't defeat them by downvoting their movies, you should just let the movies sink into the dark corners of NG.
