Response to: Some Feedback on Character Designs Posted April 9th, 2013 in Art

Ha ha TimB has it pointed out pretty much :P

I do see variation on the pants (they show signs of tear) I assume those two are both protagonists? xD
The clothes are definitely a bit too simple, as they're really the identifiable feature between the two :P I'd suggest studying some pictures of clothing and varying it up a bit.

Think of popular psychological games for example. Characters from Resident evil are distinguished mainly by their clothing. And that clothing tells a story! Even a little piece of accessory/clothing can change how we perceive them. For example, add a cloak to the man, he seems more mysterious. Give the girl a skirt, she's more adventurous. What about earrings and makeup, eyeliner? Go indepth with this! :D

Response to: Insatiable Desire for Critique Posted April 9th, 2013 in Art

Hi TimB!

The values are looking great at this point, one thing to point out though, is that the shading on her right eye makes it look kind of flat instead of curved :P
Take a few short breaks here and there! Work in chunks to get through it if you have to :D Then on to better things, wish you luck
