Okay, by now I've probably already said too much, and I don't really expect you to read through all of this. You're more likely to brush this off as me being an asshole, and thus this will probably give birth to another KiwiSundae, and you will never improve, or atleast very slowly.

I got two words for you...fuck off.

But if you didn't, good on you, try to keep all critisism in mind, even if you disagree. It will make your future content richer as you may subconsciously apply their opinions in your work. You might find that it actually did improve it, if not, atleast then you know what not to do.

I have two words for you...fuck off.

There is no need to be angry. People try to give you constructive feedback. I am glad your friends like your comic and I am looking forward to it if you have a great story. But let's be fair, you didn't show us anything of that yet. Don't blame anyone who can only judge what they have seen and read yet.

True. Besides I'm hoping to release today or tommorow at least.

In order for you to make a comic people are going to want to read ignoring the myriad of other qualities that go into a comic and its creation an attractive or stimulating visual style is required. Simple, complex, whatever, it still needs to be something people want to look at and I don't think that's something you've achieved yet with your artwork. It might be quite a bit premature to be making a full fledged comic yet as there at least a baseline you need to get at for people to want to look at it, let alone read it.

Look, I had enough of everyone criticizing about it, I don't care how I draw, okay. I like my way. Because I learned that no matter how crappy your artwork is, as long you have a good story and great plot ot setting or whatever, people are gonna want to watch or read more. How do you think eddsworld or problem solverz became pretty popular. Becuse, despite the animation looking crappy(though eddsworld developed a lot in animation), its story and humor were good enough to entertain an audience. The same could be said for art, if you get a comic with crappy art but with a good story, you'll get a ton readers that'll want more. I don't care whether you think my art looks amaturish, as long as I have a good story to show, people are gonna want more. See, it's the story that matters more than the art. I don't know what the hell you're thinking, but when I showed my friends some of my pages of the comics, they loved it! And it's not just because of the art, but because of it's story! And to be honest, my art is pretty well, and that first page is nothing compared to what you're gonna see later on in the comic. So all in all, stick all info I give you into your brain, 'cause that's what you need to do, like it or not!

That is hilarious.
Anyway, Ray, you've got to work on making a more interesting composition. That moon is too big and the craters are way too defined to really look good just sitting up there in the middle like that. As of right now your color choice is extremely boring (if you're going for grayscale then your values are boring). You should liven it up a bit, even modern cities are full of lights and colors that show from their horizons future cities should be no different. To help with that I'd recommend looking up city skylines from around the world (Los Angeles, Manhatten, Hong Kong etc) to get a feel for how buildings in the distance differ from those closer and how to get an interesting angle on them and how at night they tend to light up.
This is more opinion but I would think that the future would have some form of amazing public transit system (think futurama's pneumatic tubes and to a lesser extent Bioshock Infinite's sky hooks) so maybe have like a monorail line or something that snakes throughout the city. This is the future in a futuristic city after all play with the technology design architecture that takes advantage of the technology that can't exist today and work that into your comic. A good fictional universe is cohesive so everything that is established by you should work together in a logical way.
Hope that helps in some capacity. I sort of let the point I may have been making escape me but whatever fix that moon.

Look, I know you're trying to help me. But what i'm trying to do here is give the comic the style of how most comics were back in the early days, you know, giving it sort of a vintage feel to the illustrations. I also wanna give the story a more a dark and edgy setting, almost like gotham city. And this is just the least of it, more will be oming soon, and perhaps more interesting.

If your comic's set in a very far and distant future you don't need to tell us the city is futuristic.

We know.

It's the future.

Yeah, but there's gonna be people who are dumb enough to not know whether it's a futuristic city or not, just saying. So, waht do you think of the art?

Starting on a comic Posted December 29th, 2013 in Art

Greetings everyone, as you may not know, I have just started on a short comic two days ago, and I hope to show it to everyone, soon. I don't know when I'll show the first page to you, maybe tomorrow or somewhere in january. Now, about the comic, it will star one of my characters, omega dog, in it. If you don't know who he is, here's the link for you to see: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11750389/

Anyhow, I will not give any details about what the comic is gonna be because I don't wanna ruin it for all of you out there, but it will omega dog kicking some serious ass, and the ending(if not some parts of the comic) will have nod to something you know and watched during your childhood. Anyways, I'm just about to finish the second page, so i'll probably post the first page very, VERY, soon! So please, with all do respect, keep in touch with me, I mean it, because you might be pretty intrigued by my comic, it could be very special and you'll probably wanting more, i'm just saying.

So that's all for now, first page will be around the corner around sooner or later.(or even more sooner than you think.) And one last thing, feel free to view my artwork if you want, i'm not trying to force, it's your own choice.(And who knows, you might like what I draw, and you even probably want to watch me, hehe.)

So again, in the meantime, keep in touch, that's all I have to say. I rest my case.

(P.S. Have a happy new year, everyone.)

I've never asked anyone for donations for my comic because I'm able to cover the small costs involved in keeping my website up myself. I make it in my spare time, so I'm not sacrificing any earning potential by making it. Also, I personally don't think I've made anything worth money.

Also I haven't updated in a while.

I just wanna how can you do it?

All right everyone, just to show, i'll be starting a short comic based on my character omega dog: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11750389/
So, I'm already working on the first panel now. Anyways, I want to expose my comic by probably not only promoting it, but i'm also starting to make a donation on it. So this brings me the question...how do you make a donation for a comic, please answer as much as you can. I hope you can help.
