Rugby, I believe it was UN sanctions that caused many of the young and elderly to die because of the lack of clean water. But anyways, Roktiken, was Hitler worse than Stalin?
Well, one thing you can do is turn yourself into basically making fun of an Iraqi. Another thing you can do is ignore them, but that will make it worse. But honestly, most high school kids are retarded, don't worry about what they saw because half of the shit they make fun of is baseless.
You'd actually be surprised what counseling can do for you...

Mr Fluffykins, are we having problems in school that you want to talk to us about? Any bullying? Picking on? Have you cried yet in school?
The reason that we are somewhere besides being in the US is by preventing a thread called "Why is US only worrying about the US?" Really, think about it.
I don't know why, but I always like advocating against a side that I feel is incompetent and slightly retarded. But that's just me...
But tatooman, I would like to see the letter that your congressman gave to you. As well as that I want to know what district your in, your congressman, and your state. But anyways, in a land of almost pure desert, it definetely would not be hard to hide that amount of substances. For one thing, only the 400 tons of uranium and 8 grams of plutonium would be detectable via a geiger counter. As for the ricin, it would not be too hard to make that for the Iraqis because it is made from castor beans. As for the VX figure, I highly doubt that they made 3.9 tons of that stuff. That is just an insane amount for that, and the capabilities for that would be insane. I just highly doubt the information that was given to you, and because the link that you gave me is broken, I can only argue with what you gave me.
As for the planting of WMD's, I highly doubt it. If we did try and fail, we would've done it again until it worked.

Well Bill Gates was a high school drop out.... I don't see why your complaining.
Izuamoto, really calm down man. America definetely has made some mistakes, but all countries make mistakes. France, Russia, Germany, Britain, Yugoslavia, China, and a lot of other countries. Sure you can slander all you want about a country, but until you act on how to improve something, your doing jack squawt, it means nothing. Sure there has been some bloodshed by the US in the past 100 years. The US is the most dominant nation in the world, and if we go down, the entire world economy goes down. But just to put some things in perspective, just go to this site that put all of the deaths and who caused them in the past 100 years, I'm not sure if it's complete on all aspects, though, I have yet to thoroughly look through it. Blank Your going to have to click next a couple times to look through all of it.
The thing about the Great Depression after WW1 is the fact that everyone was putting tariffs onto foreign trade, which at this time really fucked everything up because it led to more goods for a lesser amount of people, dropping the prices of the goods so that they are able to be sold and reducing the amount of jobs to produce those goods. As for Germany, well they were screwed no matter what because of the war reparations they had to pay, even though they weren't the ones that started the war. And Russia after the war was pissed at the allies, because one they allied with the allies, and secondly the allies took land away from Russia, basically punishing them for helping the allied causes. Hell, Russia pulled out of the war because they were pissed at the Czar, causing a rise of socialism and communism.
Ahh, good ol history....
Whoever supports gay marriage, that is with me. Whoever doesn't support it and feels that it should be banned, that is fine with me. The thing that gets me is people that are supporting a Federal Amendment for a ban against gay marriage. This is not a topic for the federal government to tackle, it has no authority in this area.

BCC, the FCC means "Federal Communications Commision." Basically they are the ones that control almost all of the radio waves inside the US.

Booze cannot be effectively banned, just look at all the problems prohibition caused, murders, gangsters and such.
Your comparing apples to oranges here. On cigarettes you have filters while on weed, who the hell would waste their money on filters? And one joint would probably last for a couple hours while 5-10 cigarrettes would probably last around the same amount of time, if shorter. We know pot is less addictive then cigarettes by surverys, researches, and various other things. There are a lot of testimonials about how it was easier for a person to quite pot than to quite nicotine, mainly because pot is only mentally addictive and you don't suffer withdrawal syndromes with it. But yeah, that was to other readers, not towards Rugby because he doesn't smoke nor drink. But the thing is, why incarcerate so many people over something that the majority has done before. I mean more people have smoked pot in 2000 then voted, how stupid is that to keep it illegal? Legalizing pot would definetely put less burden about drugs onto the police so that they can worry about other things, like killings and rapes.
But yeah, this topic has been on this BBS way too many times in the past few months.

By your quote I knew that you were either from England or Europe. By your profile, I could see that you are from Austria. Congratulations by being affected by the propaganda from that region. Oh, and I need to congratulate myself for being affected by the propaganda over here as well, since everyone is affected by it one way or another. Stop being affected by other people's opinions, make your own based on the data that has been presented. I highly doubt that Blair and Bush want to kill as many people as possible because if that was true you would probably be dead by a nuclear strike right now. If Bush wanted the money, then he wouldn't have spent so fucking much on Iraq right now. You don't know how much shit he is getting over here about the costs of the war. As of the noticing part, the world knows who we are so there would be no logical point in doing that.
Another thing that I know you are probably going to reply at... Iraqi because of their aggression towards Kuwait in the early 1990's was banned of all chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. This is why the UN came in, to make sure that they were complying with those orders. The US gave a 48 hour ultimatum when Iraq refused to allow the inspectors back in, and he failed to comply, so we attacked.
The best way to get news is from the people that hate you the most.
Pot is decriminalized in British Columbia? That is sweet, I need to go there sometime.

Adun, your ignorant as well. The Patriot Act, even though I have attacked it before, is not intended for what you say, no habeas corpus. I have read basically the whole thing, there are some loop holes but those loop holes are too extreme that everybody would say it was received out of context. If you would like, could you point somewhere in that Act that puts jaywalking as terrorism? Here, let me give you the text to the thing: Here you go....
Freedom is only an idea, an idea formed throughout history. Freedom can never be achieved because if you have pure freedom, you are restricting other people's freedoms.
Jesus people give it a break. There are too many different teachings about Australia and the names that you could be arguing for days. It's like common names for species, there's many names for them.

Speed of things really depends on what compiler you use for C++. Using a GNU compiler probably won't get you the same speeds as a commercial compiler so that statement you made is kind of void.

Honestly, the Federal government has no right to intervene on this topic. In the Constitutuion it gives powers not expressed in that document are given to the state. It is just unfounded that Bush thinks he has the power to do this, but then again the Executive Office has become the main office, and the Senate and House of Represanatvies are taking a back seat.
You know why black history month is the shortest month of the year, right?
XoneCase, get your ignorant ass out of this forum, ok?
But in this article, the boy that they detained was innocent. That is what they are primarily badmouthing about, that the people in Guantanamo need to have a fair trial.
True freedom is something that you will never now until it is taken away. The freedoms that people give to you (socially, economically, religiously, etc.) you will never think twice about if they have never been threatened. In a Marxist state, everyone is equal. Including the person that works incredibly hard and is skilled as well as the person that just goes to work to be have a job. Capitalism promotes one natural instinct us humans have, that is to get the best thing for yourself. For instance, if you have a farm with sheep and every once in awhile a fox will come by and snag a sheep. You can still support yourself even though you loose a sheep every month or two, right? Why would you want to kill the fox for trying to live? But it isn't the best option to do, letting your sheep die because you want more wool, more trading power, and more money.
Right now you could be having total freedom, but you don't feel this way because you are given a fresh plate at the beginning. I like this one saying, "If you give a baby a lollipop and take it away, it will cry. If you walk past the baby it will only look with curiosity."
At 2/8/04 11:01 PM, maestro1017 wrote: And just out of curiosity how many have you taken any economics courses?
It is kind of sad that you think I need to have an economics course when most of the economics course is theory. I know that inflation does occur, but an increase from this natural inflation depreciates(devalues is the same word basically) the dollar. I view it as a graph. A country with a 4% inflation rate's dollar is going to be valued worse then a country that has a 2% inflation rate. I also know from history that during the great depression there was a massive amount of inflation. That in a recession prices go up while wages either stay the same or declines.
