Nah the NG logo is an imported gif. I know this cuze i just wanted to make my own preloader recently.

As far as i know you cant edit imported files but i have my own tecnique. You just create a new layer and pain right on the picture. Now NG logo wont change but you can draw an exact copy and then you can edit it. This brings a more artistic feel to it too.
